I didn't realize that so many people hated DLCs. Maybe it's because I'km not much of a gamer anymore; I pretty much just play DCUO. That being an MMO, it's built on DLCs and I've never had any negative experiences with them. When I saw the announcement, the first thing I thought was that they are really putting a lot of work into this game. I see nothing wrong at all with adding content at a later date if it was actually worth it. And if I don't think it's worth it, then I just won't get it.
Battle of Z was a perfect example of a poorly executed DLC, I didn't think the character were worth it, so I just didn't pay money for them, no big deal.
For Xenoverse, I think the DLCs will definitely be worth it. The fact that we are getting more quests and missions is major. And I know this game is going to have a ton of replay value.
I've seen enough from this game to give it my seal of approval. We've already seen that they've improved on certain issues that came up during the network test with the latest game play videos and there seems to be a whole lot of depth to the game in general.
February 27th can't come fast enough for me, I've already scheduled the day off for work.
