It's probably unlikely, but I'm hoping for some DB representation too, even if it's just Kid Goku and Piccolo Daimao (when will I ever get Kid Kuririn in a game again though, bah!). As for more GT characters, I'm honestly surprised Rilldo was never added in before now - he's pretty much the first real fight Goku gets in GT, so you'd think that the Tenkaichi series at least, with it's scraping of barrel bottoms for more characters, would have tossed him in.

I'd honestly be kind of shocked if we don't see Gine added though. They added Table in a previous game, so...

New IGN artcle is up about Xenoverse. This paragraph in particular is gold for all the wrongs they managed to include:

Familiar characters Goku and Vegeta - including their Super Saiyan 4 forms - along with Freeza, Cell and many others make an appearance in the title. The story adds more to the fray with the introduction of new characters, Towra and Mira. Towra is a dark scientist from a demonic world and Mira is an android, created by Towa, bent on becoming the strongest being in the universe. The duo and the Supreme Kai of Time, along with the time-producing TokiToki, are bent on changing Dragon Ball history for the own nefarious means and gathering as much Keri possible.

Oh, God.

This isn't the first time IGN have fucked up in terms researching the background of game.

Speculation time:

What characters do you think will be in the second and third DLC pack. My guess would be:

DLC Pack 2:
DLC Pack 3:

The first pack seems like it will be all about GT so I imagine the second one will move onto something else. Probably the Z movies though I would prefer it if we got to see guys like Daimao, Chaozu, Tao Pai Pai, and Blue.
Based on absolutely nothing I feel like we could see Sorbet, Tagoma, and costumes from the new movie at some point.

EDIT: Actually maybe San Xing Long and Si Xing Long are DLC and the second pack will finish up GT.

A thought occurred to me earlier about possible DLC if people were to ask for it. Outfits from Torikko and One Piece. Why? Because of the Dream9 special cross-over film. It was funny, fun and enjoyable. And including the subbed version as part of a future DLC with various outfits taken from One Piece and Torikko would be incredibly fun just to have and play around with.

I would like for more GT characters like Redgic and Rild to be playable, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I wonder if Gine might come along with Jaco in the third pack. If Tarble was a viable playable character, I don't see why she couldn't be, too.

I think Pack 2 is going to be ROF characters which is why they didn't say who is in it and Pack 3 will be DB or movie characters.

The Steelbook case is a Spain (sold out already) and Germany exclusive (US is getting in limited quantities too), and as far as pre-order DLC goes it's Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta.

It states EU gets the steelcase and trunks traveler edition. So I assume yes but when they use vague statements I always worry.

I don't think we'll see anything RoF related until next year when the Movie is actually out for all countries.

Even though the whole "Bulma's older sister" situation makes this literally an AU since because Bulma never EVER mentioned her sister at all within the original DB manga.

Bulma's gotta be 3-4? I wouldnt put it past her to forget Tights since she takes off with Jaco to explore space. Even then, why WOULD Bulma need to mention her sister if she had no idea where she was or if she was even alive. For all we know she thinks Tights is dead and just chooses not to speak about her.

I cannot picture that in the English dub. That accent coming out of someone like Tights just does not work...
