Hmm...would Fusion of either of those types work on someone like #18 though?

Re: Fan Works Explosion
I don't see why Potara wouldn't work on anyone that has something akin to ear to put said earring on. As for the Metamorean dance? I guess if she had someone close to her level of power (though I dunno if that means her supposedly suppressed "human" power or the artificial robo power). If you take Toriyama's latest comments on the dance as fact, then you can even bypass the limitations and half the dance itself:Gyt Kaliba wrote:Hmm...would Fusion of either of those types work on someone like #18 though?
Is there any importance to those seemingly pointless “Fu” and “Sion” poses?
They’re incredibly important!
The series of movements leading up to “Ha!” are important for syncing the two people up and also concentrating their minds. But once you get really good at it, it’s also possible to merge with just the “Ha!”
Can anybody perform Fusion if their body size and power are the same?
It’s hard, but they can!
I think it’s possible to merge no matter the conditions, as long as it all goes well. I even think it’s possible for a larger number of people. However, since it’s quite hard for both parties to strike that delicate balance, it’s very difficult for two extremely different people to fuse. In that sense, synchronized swimmers would probably be really good at Fusion. By the way, there are many different types of Fusion, and the kind Goku learned is the one for increasing battle power.
If a man and a woman fused, maybe they’d end up like a drag queen? A super-duper strong drag queen; it might be kind of interesting. I should have drawn that back during the serialization. (laughs) I kind of regret [not doing it].

That interview is really interesting I found t really funny when he joked about wishing he had drawn a drag queen fusion during original serialization hah.TheDevilsCorpse wrote:I don't see why Potara wouldn't work on anyone that has something akin to ear to put said earring on. I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Re: Fan Works Explosion
Huh, I wasn't aware of that new Fusion info, thanks TheDevilsCorpse! It was exactly her 'natural' power versus her robot capabilities that I was wondering about thoug, yeah. I'd assume any potential fusion would work off of her natural power...but then again, Potara is supposed to be superior, so maybe it would somehow take everything into consideration whereas the dance wouldn't?

You know even if she didn't have an interest in fighting you'd think Vegeta would teach her a thing or two. Flying would certainly be helpful. Helps out the environment. XD

Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!
