Can a half-Saiyan become a Super Saiyan God?

Ever since the Buu arc ended, it's been all Goku all the time.

That's because Gt was written by Toie who don't like to take chances and change things up.

In BOG even though Goku had the final battle he was still no match against Beerus and if anything Vegeta left a bigger impression on Beerus then Goku did due to what he was able to do without the Ssjg form.

And based of what we can speculate from FNF Goku is going to be even less effective.

Honestly I'm interested in seeing this dynamic in action especially noting that vegeta might have a legitimate opportunity to upstage Goku here, I love goku but come on this should be interesting.

Try sitting perfectly still for 25 hours straight.

I'd add try sitting still while everyone you know is being murdered or eaten by Boo. Not such a good time now as the whole earth and everything could be destroyed at any point. If it weren't for Gotenks the world would have been destroyed a lot sooner. I mean imagine being told "Here's a great amazing power up that you just have to sit still for 25 hours. But while you that you can't do shit while everyone you love dies during that waiting period".

Promotional Bio's still had Gohan having more power than the full bloods.

I doubt it was written by Toriyama cause it goes against what we see in the movie.

Well Gohan not only got the drop on Beerus, but had Beerus actually give him a strong hit. Goku was flicked and lightly chopped.
