Arale's name is not announced by the Tenkaichi Budokai / Versus announcer in any language in any version on any disc. Take that as you will._Jrinu_ wrote:So, you got it 100% huh?
Ok, so inquiring minds want to know. What is the real scoop on this Arale nonsense. Is she in the in the game or not?

Not even. At least her name was spoken aloud and we literally saw Tiffany Volmer doing in-game fighting noises.Tsukento wrote:So in other words, we have another Bulma on our hands, eh?VegettoEX wrote:Arale's name is not announced by the Tenkaichi Budokai / Versus announcer in any language in any version on any disc. It'd be sweet if he was though. Think about it, he could have the "Crazy Eye Paralysis" technique.Drunken Master wrote:That would mean they would need a Shogun Blue model, which he is of course not in this game.
Speaking of Blue, I was wondering, did they happen to give Tao-pai-pai an attack that uses his tongue? Probably not but it would be hilarious to see him beat an Ozaru by poking it's temple with his tongue.

Still needs more "Pre-Z" characters, if you know what I'm saying.Drunken Master wrote:That would mean they would need a Shogun Blue model, which he is of course not in this game.
Spike seems to have their character priorities all messed up. We have Cui and Zangya but no Piccolo Daimao. Hell, even in the last game we got Super #17 and no Yi Xing Long. How did that make sense?
If this is like the last game, Dragon Rushes wouldn't work on Ozarus, anyway.Slickmasterfunk wrote:It'd be sweet if he was though. Think about it, he could have the "Crazy Eye Paralysis" technique.

Some rushes don't work, but I've seen videos of Goku striking Hildegarn up to the air before unleashing Dragon Fist, or that of Tapion slashes Hildegard for several times before the final slash. And also Yajirobe gets to unleash his slashes onto Ozaru Vegeta. So if Tao Pai-pai has that attack, it's possible that it'll work. (Boy, I really wished that Cyborg Tao Pai-pai is in this game at least as a costume...)The Lecherous Muten Roshi wrote:Still needs more "Pre-Z" characters, if you know what I'm saying.Drunken Master wrote:That would mean they would need a Shogun Blue model, which he is of course not in this game.

The cool think about Legends was sometimes the side with less fighters would get the handicap. If I remember, this was only if you fight the CPU but I can't confirm that right now.Slickmasterfunk wrote:Sweet, I loved doing fights like that in DBZ: Legends for the PS1 way back when. Except that was 1 vs. 3 AT THE SAME TIME. Wow, I remember how hard that could be.

You can call me Rick because I'm not actually Piccolo.
I missed out on all of the DB Movie fun, huh?
Point blank: it's gonna suck if you want it to. Personally, I'm seeing it as a comedy.
