Who will play GT Goku in Xenoverse?

Aaaaand, Clinkenbeard is a much better voice actress than Naldony. If there's any indication that she was being stubborn and uncooperative with FUNimation, then she doesn't deserve to reprise her role with Gokû or Gohan. I'm glad Clinkenbeard continues to play both of them, and I will continue to support her with her role for GT Gokû. Bye bye, Naldony.

Nadolny captures the Goku essence better than Clickenbeard imo. Clickenbeard definitely makes a better Gohan though.

Nadolny sounds like that 16 year old bully girl in high school who smokes. Appropriate for Teen Gohan? somewhat, but still a terrible grating voice. Appropriate for Little Gohan or Goku? Hell no.

I remember watching Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball GT for her Goku and it was fitting, however, for Kid Gohan it just didn't work out well but "Teen Gohan" welp, I liked it too.

Clinkenbeard's irritating high-pitched voice doesn't really suit Goku or Gohan but there's people who apparently like her voice acting and she's what FUNimation's went with, so that's that.

Honestly, I actually prefer Nadolny's Kid Goku voice over Clickenbeard's. Even though I prefer Clickenbeard's Gohan over Nadolny's.

"Actor" is pretty much a gender-neutral term these days. Does anyone call a female doctor a doctress? No need to be a pedantor.

'doctress' is an old fashioned term while actress is very much alive but Political Correct people prefer to call female actresses by "actors" so that they're all seen as one which is wrong, and another example is black Americans all being labelled as "African-Americans" even if they weren't originally from a country in Africa, instead India, Sri Lanka or etc.

I'm of the same opinion. Personally, it sounds really strained and forced to me: I couldn't understand whether she said "Let's do thi!" or something else, for starters. Sounded a bit better on "You're my opponent" but definitely not very natural.

For me, it's probably a little better than in Curse of the Blood Rubies, but I still don't like it much.

I would've prefer that Nadolny reprise her role as I doubt her acting is still terrible 90s tier (only have her role as KO to go on though). Plus I've just never liked Clinkenbeard's ver. as I've never liked him and kid Gohan sounding the same nor do I get why Funi continues this odd Gohan/Goku only trend. Don't care which version, I've always wanted different actors as to me the Son kids are all different which is why I love Kara Edwards' Goten.

I'd just really like to have all three actresses for all three kids but for some reason thats really hard to do. I don't know why.

No offense, but it's stuff like this that really makes me hate the term 'nostalgia goggles' and the way nostalgia is demonized nowadays.

I mean, don't get me wrong - I get what the term is going for, and why being too enriched in nostalgia is a bad thing. It can make someone have opinions on something that might not be entirely accurate. But if someone checks out what it is they're feeling nostalgic for, and still feels the same way about it? Yeah, the term doesn't exactly apply then. At that point it's just their opinion, and like it or not, it's just as valid as any opposing ones. And as for nostalgia itself, there's absolutely nothing wrong with that feeling, because it can often lead someone back to being a fan of what they once were before and had long forgotten about.
