When was Treevax's interview posted again? I'm not trying to be rude and sound like a jerk or anything here. It's just that Kanzenshuu's news story on December 20th did specifically state that the cutscene was at the beginning of the game. Usually if the information isn't stated directly (as otherwise we could have been getting a full OVAa, or cut scenes throughout like in Ultimate Blast or something), they admit it is speculation and tell us to await further details. So I don't know if it was a guess, or if one of the kanji has one of those "special" meanings (where it means "this", but can also be used more specifically to mean "that"), that you don't really learn to grasp outside of Japan. I can only go off what I observe...

Also, I don't get why people are becoming so fixated on the base number of characters? With the announcement of DLC there's (theoretically speaking) no limit to the possible amount of characters we could get.

I might agree if all but one of the characters weren't already, obviously in the data mine code... :/
GT Trunks is the only real surprise, but he could have just used a weird index code I guess, maybe the same for why we couldn't spot Goten? Dunno.

Well the scan did say "watch the story unfold in this exclusive animation" so we didn't miss that part. We just didn't write about it.

We didn't want to state that this was part of the story mode in case this was just some hype Japanese flavor text.

Hey can someone point me to the interview in which Toriyama confessed to forgetting about Shenron's ability to grant 3 wishes instead of 1 like this movie shown?

Are Time Patrol quests like the story related missions and the other quests are just generic side missions?

I'm guessing it's like the Borderlands series, the side quests are to get a special item/items
Don't really know about the TP missions though, maybe that unlocks moves?
The speculation!

I would prefer if he was defeated in some manner that didn't require our avatar to get strong enough to topple him if the "Demon God" is actually in the same tier as Beerus, Whis and God Goku. It would seem a bit ridiculous, but for the sake of plot (especially game plot)? I'd deal with it.
Probably our CAC will stop Demigra's plan but can't defeat him. Demigra may be the one to give Mira power to process others. So it will be stupid if we can defeat him.
BTW,does anyone think our CAC is ridiculously strong? From Radizt to Beerus,Demigra level.

They only give us a chance to become Elite Saiyajins. Lol not Legendary, at least not in terms of power.

Not if your character's a Saiyan. They implied that you'd be screwing up or getting your ass kicked frequently throughout the game so he/she'd probably be getting a shitload of Zenkai boosts.

As for the other races, still not really. The created character's been shown struggling and/or getting his ass kicked, and fighting alongside the other fighters.

Famitsu review score is out: 7/8/8/7 or 30/40

worse than BoZ which got 8s across the board

Is Famitsu's review out? I assume it wouldn't be translated yet, but I'm really interested if there's anything new to learn there.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Straight up, fuck Famitsu. Their review system sucks. I mean, randomly-generated scores?

On top of that they gave Burst Limit, Raging Blast, and even fucking BoZ a higher score than Budokai 3, and lumped that together with Raging Blast 2 and Ultimate Tenkaichi. I can understand BT3 being higher (even if I don't necessarily agree with it) but those games? :wtf:

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Even if those review scores are accurate, I don't see how 30 out of 40 is in anyway a 'bad' score. I'm still beyond excited for this game.

I'm very excited for this game but I must say that XENOVERSE might have called for higher scores than Battle of Z however they have their own rubric and preferences I soppose.

Scores are meaningless. The content of the review is what matters.

Scores from Famitsu are historically worthless, too.

It's not sure much the score in isolation, as much as it is in comparison to previous Dragon Ball games.

Famitsu reviews are largely worthless, but I think it's important to note that Xenoverse has received the worst main console game score since the PS2 days.

That all seems to add up and a side note for my last post it is worth adding that I enjoyed Battle of Z however I pre ordered XENOVERSE and can already tell it has more of what I would consider would warrant a higher score despite the fact that I'm not really taking the time to put together a rubric.
