Does a saiyan tail go blonde in SS?

Do we know what Toriyama's opinion on a saiyan tail going blonde would be?

Not counting GT because I hate it and it's a mess anyway.

He says saiyans don't need tails after a certain point but I assume if they hadn't already lost it would still remain.

is the only time we've seen this with Bardock in EoB? Where his tail stayed brown?

Did toriyama design Bardock then?

We only know that toriyama originally drew him with one but he didn't have it in the final film.
He doesn't mention what colour it would go.

We know he though about giving Goku his tail back in SSJ3 but we don't know what colour it would have been.

I personally like the idea of it going blonde but I don't know if there's evidence either way, did onio in nekomajin have a tail?

I think he did, but I don't think we ever got official colored art of him that I'm aware of, so... :/

I'm with you, personally - the idea of the tail turning golden blonde just like the hair on their head makes perfect sense to me.

It went red for SSJ4, so Id imagine it would go gold for SSJ1-3.

I think in GT SSJ kept brown colour for the tail, but I like to think tails also get a golden colour in SSJ. No way to truly know though. Bardock didn't get a golden tail, but his special was shit.

In GT we see it go blonde for SSJ3 Annoying it's out of shot as he cycles through 1 and 2!

Well, GT's already been covered, it might be worth mentioning the Episode of Bardock OVA keeps it brown in Super Saiyan but the promotional artwork for the manga artwork sometimes coloured it brown and sometimes blonde.

It should be blonde, it makes sense because the hair of a Saiyan turns blonde due to the aura, it also changes clothes to a lighter color as well. It always annoys me a bit when i see a SSJ with a brown tail.

No, the aura has nothing to do with it. It's only in the anime their hair goes gold because of the aura and is yellowish white without it.

I personally like it, when SS tails aren't blonde. It's my fanon that only a SS3 would have a golden/blonde tail.

Well, going off GT that's not exactly fanon - that seems to be exactly how they portray it.

Well, the only hair apart that on the scalp that we have any evidence for in Toriyama's work is eyebrow hair, but that said, I think it's perfectly reasonable to assume that the visual effects of the Super Saiyan transformation applies to other bodily hair too.

I think the reason ssj hair stays blonde even without aura is due to ssj always making light. and like i said even they're clothes become lighter.

There are scenes in GT where the tail is brown with SSJ1 or 2?

In the baby fight his tail is out of sight as he cycles through 1 and 2...

If even the eyebrows turn gold when you transform into a SSJ, I'm sure the tail would as well.

GT is inconsistent in this, sometimes it turns golden, sometimes it doesn't. Ooishi's colored artwork for EoB is also inconsistent in this, we have a SS Bardock with golden tail, and another one with brown tail. But the video games, as well as the EoB anime, show us that the tail stays brown so... I guess brown tail gets the most points? I think that the tail should turn golden, but then again, the tail has brown hair (or fur?), while Saiyans have black hair in the rest of their bodies, so it could be an exception I guess.

If the fur goes blonde while they are in Ozaru form, it should change when they're not as well. Simple enough for me.

Well, let's first acknowledge the fact that a Saiyan's tail fur (and Ozaru fur) is brown, as opposed to their black head hair color. So if a Saiyan's black hair turns blonde when going SS, it is not the same as a Saiyan's brown hair turning blonde, so it is not fair to say that "it makes more sense for the tail to go yellow than for it not to".

In short, there is absolutely nothing to go by.
