So since the cycle of our yearly DBZ games is about begin in about 2/3 months, what are you guys expecting? What are some things you want to see happen? (Xenoverse 2,RB3,New Series,etc?)lets Share ideas and discuss.

I'm willing to wait 2-3 years for Xenoverse 2. But I could somehow see Spike re-releasing the Tenkaichi/Sparking series at some time between Xenoverse being released and before the sequel is released.

Worst case scenario: Xenoverse befalls the fate of Burst Limit and we never get a sequel because Dimps is too busy with Street Fighter and other games.

At this point, the same as the last time we were asked? I don't entirely know what to expect after the Xenoverse surprise, but I know what I'd want:

Xenoverse 2: Pretty standard sequel situation here, meaning new story and probably characters. Tweak some things about the gameplay I'm sure, as well as add in more general content (characters, attacks, costumes, etc). They also need to tweak the transformation system to work for more characters than just Saiyans, allow customization (to an extent at least) of existing franchise characters, and allow color editing of all avatar costumes.

"Raging Blast 3": I enjoy the Raging Blast and Tenkaichi series well enough for what they are. It's more about a fun Dragon Ball experience with character combinations and non-technical beating up of everything, which I don't mind at all. The reveal that Sparking! OMEGA was fake was disappointing, and so was "Ultimate Tenkaichi". Honestly, I really wouldn't mind them taking Raging Blast 2, adding in the missing characters (except maybe giants) from Tenkaichi 3, Ultimate Tenkaichi and some of the newer content like the bigger Heroes characters, Battle of Gods, Revival of F, etc.

Sagas Redux: I love the idea of Sagas and I really enjoyed the Legacy of Goku games too, but Sagas itself was a horrible, horrible game. I'd love to see something like it done again, but handled better though.

Can I second the notion of a Xenoverse 2 (though I'd also like it if it was at least a few years down the line rather than just one), and a Sagas Redux type game? Because I really would like both of those, a lot.

Beyond that though, I'd really like for us to get something else new for our handheld consoles. I've got a 2DS that's just begging for something Dragon Ball to come to it! Same with Vita (though I don't have one of those yet). Beyond that, I'd also like to see something that was much more Dragon Ball focused than DBZ for a change, but I doubt that'll happen.

Lol i keep asking because i was so disappointed when i saw the Xenoverse reveal trailer( Had high hopes of something different) and i'm ready for the next information on the next game.I quiet enjoyed sagas though, It wasn't THAT bad to be honest.

It wasn't in general, but I remember kinda having a glitchy experience. Especially with the SS Goku Vs. Freeza fight where he'd keep disappearing and teleporting out of the battle zone. The final fight Vs. Cell and having to work Gohan up to SS2 wasn't exactly easy at the time either...

I don't know why people are hoping for Raging Blast 3 so much when it's likely not going to happen. Namco Bandai said a while ago that they drop the Raging Blast name. Xenoverse is coming out soon, I don't think we will see a major DBZ game until two years from now. I think Xenoverse will likely focus on DLC then a sequel in 2017.

I think Xenoverse is good enough as it stands, so for another big game right behind it to me is kinda meeeh. I would just like a Tenkaichi/sparking! HD remake (Budokai got one so why not). I think that will be good enough to hold us down until say a Xenoverse 2 or what have you.

I'd like to see:

- Zenkai Battle Royale ported to PS3/4
What I'm hoping for the most.

- Dragon Ball Musou
Mixed in with a VS mode developed by either Team Ninja or Dimps.

- Hyper Dragon Ball Z
Ported to consoles and updated from 2D sprites to 3D models.

- Tenkaichi HD Collection
So that part of the fanbase can shut up.

- An open world RPG
Because why not?

- A big DLC update for Xenoverse in a few years
I'd prefer this Instead of "Xenoverse 2." Throw in a new story, more new characters, and other past events, and it'd be pretty cool.

I miss the DS games. Attack of the Saiyans was fun; I know that company's gone or somewhere else now (don't remember), but something in that vein would be nice. Pokémon-esque RPG with the original Japanese voices? Was fun. X3
I'm pretty sure by the end of the game I'd maxed out leveling up my team.

Ultimate Butoden looks like it was fun too; I still wish that one had made it international release-wise. A fighting game where you can also dress your character up in silly accessories? (I still recall that screenshot where someone gave Gokû that bunny headband, and Vegeta in a top-hat) I would've enjoyed that game.

Only way I'd be okay with Spike coming back is if they make Zenkai come to console or PC, or anything better than that lol. I don't see how they can top Xenoverse as far as story mode and whatnot.

I hope Spike never comes back. We deal with their shit for 7 years. They improve in 2006 and 2007 with Sparking 2 & 3 but they got worst after that. Besides I think Namco Bandai listen to the fans for once when it came to Spike since most fans don't want them back. I think they got Dimps for XV because they knew that fans wanted Dimps back for years and Dimps was likely lucky enough to have the time to make a new DBZ game.

1. Revenge of King Piccolo sequel - RoKP was one of those "play it once and never pick it up again" kind games to me for the most part. But it was a fun little distraction with good potential to be something great nonetheless.

2. Tenkaichi HD Collection - cuz, ya' know, why not... right? But I'd like to see BT3 and TTT get the HD treatment specifically.

3. Burst Limit 2 - The first one laid a pretty good foundation for something amazing to set atop. Lack of a tournament mode and no dragonball collecting were the only two major issues. I'd like to see those return and also capsules in a sequel.

4. port of Zenkai Battle Royal to consoles - I mean, have you seen that shit? Shit looks fuckin spectacular.

5. Raging Blast 3 - Like Burst Limit, the RB games had potential. With RB2 there was glimpse of were that potential was going, and I'd love to see how it would end up with a third game.

I'm not keen for Xeno 2. At least not in the next 2 Years, depending on how the Original turns out in the End. I'm actually fine with the Season Pass that adds Content, and others that may come later. Better then a half-baked and full priced Sequel with minor Changes overall.

Only real Thing i still want is a sole RPG. Dragon Quest-ish or DBO like. Or heck, a recycled Sagas. Yeah and the teased Sequel to Attack of the Saiyans. Would buy a 3DS for it in a Heartbeat.

I'd gladly settle for a Xenoverse 2 if the game turns out at least decent (which is very likely) but if not then Burst Limit 2... or a Budokai Tenkaichi (1, 2, 3) HD Collection so the fanboys can shut up.

Yeah but I still think people give Atari way too much credit for DBZ games. Namco Bandai did brought over Attack of the Saiyans and Revenge of King Piccolo a few years back. Ultimate Butoden was likely never brought over because Namco Bandai didn't think it will sell well. The other DBZ games on the handhelds didn't seem to do that great like Super Sonic Warriors 2, Shin Budokai 2 and Harukanaru Densetsu seem to flop in the US. Why bother importing a game if very few people are going to buy it?

I want a Dragon Ball game for 3DS. One that, unlike Heroes, actually has a chance of ever leaving Japan.
