BT3 HD? We can make it happen!

So I don't know if this has been dicussed or not but these two DBZ youtubers called Rhymestyle and Thundershot69 have asked Bandai Namco for an HD remake of BT3, and they agreed! There's a catch, however. We have to, as fans, show them that we really want it or else they said they won't do it. They wanted something like 100,000 sales at least and I think thats a reachable number. What do you guys think about this and will you support it?

100,000 sounds possible based on the number of things Xenoverse has that the last few didn't (Dimps, a new story, CaC that isn't crap, GT, etc.). I don't know how I really feel about BT3 HD though. While it'd make my wotk significantly easier, it may bring Spike back and I'd rather see a variety of games instead of several more years of Tenkaichi/Raging Blast. I'd actually want a Tenkaichi HD Collection instead of just BT3 because BT3's story was pretty shitty.

If they can promise a Tenkaichi 3 that updates more than just the graphics, I'd definitely support it.

I'd rather they make a Budokai Tenkaichi HD Collection than just BT3 like they did Budokai only with all three games and online support. Considering the improvements/changes from BT2 to BT3 is greater than that of from B1 to B2 there'd be no reason to leave one of the three quintessential games out.

It'd be one load off Dimps' mind when they make a sequel to Xenoverse.

Yeah...while I'd love the concept of a BT3 HD edition, the game just feels outdated to me any time I pick it up. I'd be more interested in something more akin to the old Sparking Omega rumor, as the only thing Spike would really be good for is giving me TONS of character options to create any sort of fight scenarios I can imagine.

--BT3 roster, plus new characters from later Spike games, recent movies, what-ifs from Heroes, etc.
--Raging Blast style models, with Sparking's colorful pallet and shading. (Original ones were blocky as hell.)
--Raging Blast style customization instead of splitting characters up by era or moves.
--Combat that incorporates some aspects of the RB system, because punches in the the old Spike games feel kind of weightless.

If I'm not getting at least that, then I really don't need this to be a thing and would rather just wait for Xenoverse 2 or whatever. The only thing I miss from BT3 (other than the larger roster), is the horde battles. Like, where I could play as someone like Goku/Vegeta/Bardock/Broli and fight my way through Freeza's organization, from the recolors of the Freeza Soldier, Appule, Kyui, all the way up to the big wigs like Freeza and Cold themselves.

I really don't see the point. The game wasn't that good that it's worth doing a HD release nor would it sell a worthwhile amount.

They may as well just implement what people did like about that game and introduce it into a Xenoverse 2.

No, not like Budokai. The Budokai HD collection wasn't "whole", it was missing B2. And I don't care what people say I liked B2...

If they are going to release another HD remake then it better have all the games.

They can do a HD release of BT3 as a digital download release since I don't see a retail release happening unless they do a HD collection of Tenkachi Tag Team throw into the mix. That's probably why Budokai 1 was throw in the Budokai HD collection since they feel like Budokai 3 HD won't sell well on it's own.

I'm not a fan of 2D fighters but I can see why fans like it and it's by no means a bad game plus it didn't come out after 2007 so I'm not counting it in the bad game list.

I'd much rather see a BT4 with essentially the things TheDevilCorpse said, but if I can't have that, I'd love a BT HD Collection. I love the Budokai games (especially B3) but I prefer BT/RB games.

One thing I will point out is that I totally call bullshit on Bandai Namco not knowing how much people want Meteor in HD. Even more so after the "Sparking! OMEGA" stuff went down.

With that said, a digital release of just METEOR in HD is totally up my alley, I have fond memories of that game. It's the reason I still pick up Tag Vs once in a while for a couple of rounds.

And they also assumed Bandai Namco will/would get the original team back together for the remaster, which is all kinds of naive.
