Are you guys going to play the game subbed with the Japanese voices or the English voices turn on? Most of the time I will normally play the English voices on since I do feel like the acting can be better then it was in the show.

I'll probably spot-check some parts/voices in English, like Jaco, but otherwise it's all Japanese with me. Also a familiarity thing. Those voices are the characters to me. Well, except the Kai replacements. Still not digging the new Ginyu Force cast. But oh well.

There is nothing wrong with that if you like a certain dub you like a certain dub can't blame you for being yourself

Lol, That's me as well, got in on Dragon Ball pretty late in the game and the English voices is what I know. Still think it's cool to have the option to switch tho.

That's probably been the biggest thing for me hearing new Japanese material with older characters too. I can't say I really actively remember what Z's Jeice sounded like, but I'd probably still remember it well enough upon hearing it...but with one of the newer trailers for this game, I didn't even realize Jeice was talking until certain words said made it obvious.

At least the core cast is still mostly the same though.

Japanese with English subs, even though I've grown up with the English cast the past 6 months have been Japanese only. I don't like the new staff of V.A's for the English. Plus Nozawa Masako is pretty fucking awesome at what she does.

If they could've had the Team Four Star cast do VO for this as a kind of secondary fun dubbing, well that'd just be the Best. Thing. Ever.

The thought of dub fans being "hated" has diminished quite a bit in these past few months, so I wouldn't worry about it. I used to never post for this reason but now I don't care lol

Me personally think the dub voices don't do a good job with the games. Sounds like a rush job every time. Burst Limit was decent I guess, and maybe BOZ too, but everything in-between... dear God. Goku sounds like Sonic the hedgehog getting rings knocked out of him every time he's hit... "UUWWHOOAAAAA!!!". No thanks.

I'm praying they do a better job in this game. They have over an hour worth of cutscenes and whatnot, so it would be awesome if they did well with it.

Normally play through once in english and in japanese the second time around. I guess when I make my second character I'll switch.

Probably mostly with the English voice cast, with occasional dips into Japanese. If I do a second full playthrough of the story stuff, I'd also watch it in Japanese. Easier to rewatch something when you get to experience it in a slightly different way.

Ah, the good'ol "because it's a language I speak" arguement. I heavily doubt that the same people saying that then turn around and would only watch foreign movies like "REC" or "Life is beautiful" dubbed in english, because Dende forbid people train their eyes to multitask.

I switch around the voice cast in DBZ games. Sometimes I'm lazy and I have the dub voice actors on. If the custom characters don't sound anoying like they do in Ultimate Tenkachi then I will turn on the Japanese voices on like I did with Ultimate Tenkachi.

Was Raging Blast really that bad? 1, not 2, because 2 was garbage.

I'm pretty satisfied with the roster for the most part. My only real problem is that there is no SSJ Gogeta, just SSJ4. I probably will create him if Gotenks's jacket and a suitable hair are usable. I also would like Buu's absorptions, but I don't mind much.

All these people that have the game this early and post videos on YouTube make me a little mad. I'm so jealous. But I think I'll have to wait the most, since I'll play it on PC.

English voices for me. But I tend to flip flop between English dub and Jap sub.
