Anyway, as for the topic I am with Hellspawn28 on wanting a live action DB movie, to this day I still hope we do (well another one lol with someone who actually cares deeply for the franchise, like how a Marvel Spider-man film will be 10x better than a Sony one, if given creative control)

Sony's talking about giving us a grown-up, or even married, Spider-Man. Seeing that in Captain America 3 and Civil War would bring a smirk to my face. While I doubt they'd unmask him or give him a daughter, if they do, they can't sweep it the way the comics did.

Anyway, I always thought pink was the natural choice of hair color for a transformation that truly went beyond Super Saiyan (because of New Agey shit about ascending colors nstuff). I also prefer Goku's regular hairstyle to his Super Saiyan one. So...I never saw Super Saiyan God coming, but at least it *looks* good.

And speaking of daughters, I always thought a Super Saiyan fetus was the logical progression from the Goten and kid Trunks bullshit, but with the saving grace of being absurd.

Vegeta in awkward/ridiculous situations in BOG was like a really belated present--I enjoyed it, but if it'd come out back when I was still a relative newbie to the franchise I would've loved it. That was right down younger!me's alley.

Gokû's ssjg, however--when I heard there would be a new movie, I was really hoping that Gokû would get a special movie-only magical power-up curtsey of the "mystery lady" in the far back of the poster (who turned out to be Whis). There's no way I could've guessed on the looks though. All the transformations so far have been big and powerful-looking; this one's small, magenta, and sparkles! (I love it.)
I was also thinking a new dougi that would look kinda greek god-ish prior to the ssjg's appearance reveal. The only new outfit part we got were those cute red ribbons on the boots.

As soon as I advanced far enough into the manga for Raditz to reveal that Gokū was a Saiyajin, I wanted some background on that, more specifically, Toriyama-sensei-written background, especially regarding Gokū's and Raditz's parents and any other potential family they might have had. Dragon Ball Minus made my dream come true.

I've also wanted to learn about Vegeta's and Nappa's origins for a long time, but that never particularly happened, other than a few small details on Vegeta's childhood in Minus and BoG.

The son of Katatz who later split into Kami-sama and Piccolo-Daimaō always fascinated me in how shrouded in mystery his former existence was. I still really want to know exactly how his story went, from his departure from Namekku to his splitting into the two aforementioned beings and what took place immediately afterward.

Well, I wanted a complete Ocean dub of the series and it seemed like I was going to get that in the form of a Kai dub but alas... that doesn't seem to be getting released anymore.

Overall there isn't really much I want/wanted from this franchise that isn't already out there. BoG was a nice surprise I admit but it wasn't something I necessarily hoped for, same goes for the original announcement of DB Kai. I honestly just assumed the franchise was put to bed at that point minus a few games and merchandising here and there.

When playing the Budokai series I remember thinking "Wouldn't it be cool if you had more freedom and could move all over the stage?"
Then the Sparking!/Tenkaichi series did exactly that. While the game is definitely not without its flaws, Tenkaichi 3 is still the closest thing to my dream Dragon Ball game.
