Yes you can choose either Trunk's Sword or the Z Sword but neither are actually used with the sword supers.

Indeed. The sword players can attach to their backs is for cosmetic reasons and may (like outfit pieces) assist or give a boon to certain attributes and statistics. But beyond that it cannot be used. Instead, when using special attacks and combos that utilize a sword, one will just appear in your hand and vanish, and won't specifically be the one tagged to your back. So really it's just there to look pretty.

These clothing stats are a real pain in the ass. Attire like Goku's GT outfit will absolutely murder your basic attack and melee super strength. A single piece wears them both down by 5.

I think this is one of the things they really dropped the ball on, you really be able to visually pick any outfit you want. Another thing though, you can't turn the timer off in Vs mode?

I know it has nothing to do with Xenoverse but I've been looking forward to this game so much its made me want to go back and play some of the older games and now I'm wondering if I should get the Budokai HD collection or not. I do have them on PS2 already though and I heard they replaced all the music so I dunno.

Edit: Just read that on the EU version for Budokai 1 they only have the sub available, is that true?

I just bought the HD collection the other day, it's worth the buy, and it looks great, the replaced music works pretty well.

Yep. Back in the day, they didn't get the dub.

For the most part its a solid hd collection Budokai 3 had a better placement of the replacement score than Budokai 1 did

It will come packed in with ALL first print run copies of the game, no matter the retailer.

Just got home from GameStop with my new PS4! Made sure to preorder Xenoverse.

I'm really excited, as the Xenoverse display said that Power-Up members will get the Steelbook case with the preorder (while supplies last). I asked the guy behind the counter, and he said they are expecting very limited stock. I'll be sure to get there ASAP next Tuesday.

Been watching some English gameplay on YouTube and on streams and people are really hating the dub because they think Freeza and Cell sound "Gaaaaaaaay"....
Soooo many people are like "I hate Cell's Kai voice actor, I want the original Cell VA back!"...

If they only knew... I myself think Clarke is doing a great job as Cell same goes for Ayres as Freeza.

So I'm extremely dissatisfied with the dub. Goku, Mr. Satan and Cell are the only really good performances in this game. Everyone sounds tired and bored. Even Sabat phones in the "death scene" on Namek. The script messups, oh dear lord...

I just got done playing the demo not too long ago at GameStop, and have to say I like it. The controls were pretty tight but I struggled to play it mainly cuz it's something completely different.

It really could use a training mode, though.

I think the dub overall is satisfactory. I mean I wasn't expecting Oscar caliber performances anyway.
