With training only, he went from 8,000 to 90,000; a 45x difference
Don't you mean a little over 11x?
Plus Goku would had a zenkai boost of his own following the Vegeta fight so it shouldn't even be that.

The better question is; why did they wait so long to do it?Drayenko wrote:The only thing I wanna know is why in hell would Freeza be revived by his minions.

Well, Frieza always seemed to treat his high-ranking subordinates with some respect, as shown with the GF, Dadoria and ZarbonDoctor. wrote:Perhaps he actually treated his empire and his subordinates in a moderately humane manner. The Ginyus didn’t seem to have a problem in initiating a normal conversation with Freeza. Zarbon and Dodoria also seemed comfortable enough around Freeza.Drayenko wrote:The only thing I wanna know is why in hell would Freeza be revived by his minions.
Taking real life as an example, we still have Neo Nazis who praise Hitler. Here in Portugal like 50% of the population doesn't hold any type of grudge towards a dictator who ruled over us for circa 30 years or so, and he only died in the 60s. When the Roman Empire split into two, I’m sure there were people who thought of the “good old days” where they were united with one leader.
Because we need a new movie with him in it! Yay.AvatarReiko wrote: The better question is; why did they wait so long to do it?
Freeza getting stronger by training isn't the problem, that's perfectly believable. It's him becoming stronger than Goku or Buu in only 4 months that I have a problem with. Even at Goku's most intense training (whether it be gravity training or spending a year in the ROSAT) he never received anywhere near that kind of increase in such a short time.Blade wrote:Well, Goku is an alien so... Erm, oh wait, so is Freeza.jjgp1112 wrote:Goku became fucktardedly strong after 6 days of gravity training and yet a huge boost after 4 months of training is somehow a stretch.?
But! But Goku's a prodigy and fighting genius! Oh, wait... yeah, Freeza too.

I think it's almost as though the years of there being no new Dragonball plot-lines has lulled the fanbase into feeling as if everything that has gone on before is unshakeable lore that's set in stone. It's really not so hard to get one's head around a lot of the new stuff if basic logic is applied, I mean, it's already more than implicit that Freeza arrogantly sat in his ruling position, paranoidly fearing the rise of the Saiyan's, but never questioning the idea in his own head of his strength ever being equaled or surpassed by any lower being - it's what makes his breakdown when fighting Goku all the more poignant. Being as freakishly powerful as he was, Freeza probably never lifted a finger to train his whole life (which has been stated as much recently) - it therefore stands to reason that with such absurd natural strength, that with training he could become much, much stronger.
Wait where did I get 45x from
oh god... After seen him in Movie 12, Hatchyack's OVA in 2010, in Episode of Bardock, in Dragon Ball Minus...Drayenko wrote:Because we need a new movie with him in it! Yay.AvatarReiko wrote: The better question is; why did they wait so long to do it?
We don't know that yet. With Zenkais, something Freeza doesn't have access to.
If Goku can increase his power level eleven-fold in 6 days, and given that Freeza is also a fighting prodigy, in four month of rigorous training who says his power level can't skyrocket? And remember, his final form is technically his true base form. So 120,000,000 times anything higher than 1000 and Freeza is force to be reckoned with again. With training only, he went from 8,000 to 90,000; a 11x difference, not even enough for Freeza to achieve Goku's SSJ level in BoG.

Freeza's in every corner!
And he still abused zenkai's to get that 8k->90k increase.Doctor. wrote:With Zenkais, something Freeza doesn't have access to. And a transformation.Lord Beerus wrote:Goku went from a power level of 8000 to 150,000,000 in 6 six days.
Just putting that out there.

I messed up somehow but I'm not recalling my thought process at the time lol.Bullza wrote:I have no idea, you said that before too so I was sitting here wondering if it was just me that was missing out on something.
19x is not thousands, his training is gonna have to be rough. As far as other increases go Goku got 19x stronger training with King Kai and that was over 4 months wasn't it? Plus he was in a gravity he wasn't adjusted to and had a mentor to specially train.
It's not like Freeza is gonna have a sparring partner.
Like I said above, if Goku trained for 4 months under the same training with consistent boosts, he'd get around 220x stronger. If you agree that SSJ3 Goku is equal in power to SSJ Gotenks post RoSaT, we're facing a 3200x difference between Boo arc Base Goku and SSJ3 Gotenks. Double that for Super Boo Gotenks and it's still not close to God Goku. Yes, these are just numbers that don't need to be consistent, yes Freeza is a prodigy, but such a big increase is lazy writing. If Goku can increase his power level eleven-fold in 6 days, and given that Freeza is also a fighting prodigy, in four month of rigorous training who says his power level can't skyrocket? From what I got Freeza may have revived but only his body, not his soul.Low Tone G wrote:I'm not against scenarios for Freeza to catch up with SSJ3 Goku or even beyond(as he states he can defeat him in the blink of a eye) in 4 months. And also, it was stated that Freeza's minions only know about Goku's strength 'till the Buu saga. So it means that Freeza needs to become only as strong as Super Vegetto to one-shot Goku and Trunks. And I'm fine now with comment of Piccolo that Freeza is another league, becuase if Freeza were to have God right then, Piccolo shouldn't have been able to read his power level. I really hope something more will happen that will upgrade Freeza to become a being on par with a God. I'm glad that it turned out that Freeza knew about Beerus.
The only thing that makes me upset is that the whole resurrection doesn't make a sense. It still needs to be explained well enough. How the hell can Freeza's soul renunified in the living world with his body when his soul is still imprisoned in Hell, all with a single wish? Or they had the chance to wish Freeza's soul back with a second wish?
So how can he have memories, when he is only a body with no soul?Avenged wrote:From what I got Freeza may have revived but only his body, not his soul.Low Tone G wrote:I'm not against scenarios for Freeza to catch up with SSJ3 Goku or even beyond(as he states he can defeat him in the blink of a eye) in 4 months. That's what you're assuming they'll be confused at? Not that Hell is apparently the home of cute and cuddly angels and teddy bears?Hellspawn28 wrote:I do notice that Freeza has a cyborg body in Hell.
