Oh so it was an ultimate attack and just as i noted it negates most melee attack(and even some supers?). Which means one should say clear/ avoid fighting them lose range ,when their opponent has enough energy for a ulimate? kinda sucks really..

Have we gotten any information as to why characters like Frieza and Raditz are training our CaCs? Does the story indicate any reason as to why some of the villains wouldn't like the alternate history where they end up victorious?

Thanks!

I'm sure the training stuff is just a gameplay mechanic for our sake. I doubt anyone actually recruited characters like Raditz to come train Time Patrollers in-universe.

As for the timeline stuff, what do you mean? Miiiiinor spoilers here, but not really...we see the things that have changed in history and then go back to fix them. But there's generally nothing going on in terms of any of the original characters from the timeline you are in are ever being aware anything was ever different. They don't even seem to know they've been possessed, they just become more aggressive.

I read over on TV Tropes that the villains train your character as a "fuck you" to the Time Breakers for controlling them.

Thanks DevilsCorpse, makes sense. I was just trying to figure out how these villains end up in Toki Toki city to train you in the first place, or frankly, anyone for that matter and if it's ever explained in the story.

That's funny if true, but I still think it's just a gameplay mechanic that they are spicing up so it doesn't seem so disconnected and bland. Bringing pretty much any of those characters to Toki Toki City to train your avatar would basically go against everything Trunks preaches about screwing with history. Especially for the villains who should be dead. =P

Yeah it's just a convienent technicality for gameplay, not something strongly intended to make sense lol.

The startup of the ultimate attack has some sort of super armor, which uses stamina. If you are able to guard break the person during the startup, the person won't execute the move and you can punish him with a big combo.

DB Xenoverse is not a DBZ simulator with fighting elements, it's a semi competent fighting/action game with DBZ simulation elements.

Is your custom character "the silent hero", or do they have any lines of dialogue in any portion of the game? (besides grunts)
Other than grunts and yelling out attacks they are silent
Thank you!

Seen that. But... Where is he in that form in the actual game? People have already finished the game and not a trace of this form for him was seen.

I hope not. I hate this "DLC" thing. I have lost a lot of wonderful things because of this.

Just looked at Media-Create's sales data for this week, and Xenoverse has passed 100k on Sony consoles for its first week and a half.

Please give citation for us.

I'm glad this game is doing well. It's already doing better than Battle of Zzz.... and to think it took that game failing for them to get the picture.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.
