4 months training? Japanese for 4 meaning death?
Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
Because, well... This determines whether Super Saiyan God is indeed the strongest form or not.
In fact, it was said Super Saiyan God surpasses Super Saiyan 3, but clearly it was based on Kakarot. But how does it work for the "Original Super Saiyan God"? Has he reached the same level Kakarot's had in Battle of Gods, or has he reached the same level Kakarot had in Freeza, Cell or Buu arc when he got access to the transformation?

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
Cause some people want SSJ4 to be dethroned or the transformation wars to end. To do so they need a solid written down base line from Toriyama or someone connected to Toriyama but with how he just doesn't care about such trivial things and how in recent years he has started becoming against transformations, he probably never will do any of that. I genuinely don't care but that is mostly cause I don't care about SSJG as a form nor do I care for the argument.UpFromTheSkies wrote:Why do people want to know such specific, irrelevant details like how many times SSJG multiplies base power?
Going on hiatus. Too much stuff in RL to deal with for me to keep up with posts here for now. Was fun, hope you all have a nice day and future! Volt signing off.

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
I don't really care that much about power related things, but...
Unless...hmm. Could his time limit have been even shorter, since the Saiyans that helped him access the power were weaker than Vegeta, Gohan, Goten, Trunks, and probably-for-whatever-reasons Pan are?
I would assume that a big part of it was based on Goku being Goku, not to mention how strong he was, yeah. I mean...the Saiyans that the original Super Saiyan God were facing were likely all regular Saiyans, not Super Saiyans. And even if they were, they probably weren't anything beyond that in power, which Beerus is far, far beyond. So even with the insanely short time limit, I can't imagine the original Super Saiyan God failing like he did given the much weaker opponents he had to deal with.Dyno wrote:In fact, it was said Super Saiyan God surpasses Super Saiyan 3, but clearly it was based on Kakarot. Roller coaster is a good term for this movie's news blips. Never was BOG like this for me. I rode a high of excitement from start to end with BOG.voltlunok wrote: I hope we get more info soon cause being this in the dark is making me scared for this movie. The little bits and pieces we've gotten have made my hype meter go up and down like a roller coaster and it's becoming exhausting! The training thing had me interested then they say 'oh yeah he only trained for 4 months' and I lost interest. However Pilaf's gang and the 'angel of hell' have me still somewhat interested but I don't know if that is enough to keep me biting at the bit for this movie...Toei...More info please!
I want to know what's going on with Gokû and Vegeta so bad, it supplants any concern over how Freeza gets that strong over four months.
On hiatus.

It is the strongest, Toriyama said that after mastering SSJG there's no need to transform anymore. As for exactly how powerful the original SSJG was in relation to SSJG Goku, I don't see how it's relevant to the story.Dyno wrote:Because, well... Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
Of course he would ignore the anime since the anime is adaption of his work. His world of Dragon Ball is different then what we saw on TV. I see nothing wrong with Toriyama ignoring the anime fillers and GT. They are not apart of his creation and I consider that a good thing. People wanted Toryiama to come back to Dragon Ball and ignore the crap that Toei give us. 15-10 years later and people are now upset about it. I think it's also a good thing since it ends debates since we see Mecha Freeza in Hell while in the anime that he never had his cyborg body after death.Kakarot9001 wrote: Anyway I read about the "official" conception of Toriyama about the Hell in the series and I really dislike that he is ignoring the anime and going only through the manga

He did, that coloring style is easily current Toriyama. Slightly different than Kanzenban era, but still pretty close to that.Lord Beerus wrote:Did Toriyama draw that? Because it looks so much like his artstyle.

People, do we have to keep using these early 2000's scans? It's 2015. The tankobon have been commercially available in multiple countries for decades. The kanzenban have been around since 2004. The full color manga is less than 2 years old. You can buy physical copies and scan them yourself or even pick them up digitally. For the love of god at least flip the picture the correct way. We're better than this.dbzfan7 wrote: But we saw the pieces literally blasted into smithereens.

If the Shadow Dragons were ever going to return then they would need be totally revamp seeing they were lame and generic. Yi Xing Long had no personally and zero suspense to his character when you compare him to Freeza, Cell and Buu.Lord Beerus wrote: I wouldn't mind if he kept the concept of the Shadow Dragons, they were awesome.
