Then that's it for the V-Jump leaks until next issue.

Whenever I see how well-animated some of the Precure scenes are--even if it's a movie--and the lack of great animators that are involed in Fukkatsu no F, sometimes I wonder if Toei cares about Dragon Ball at all.

That's pretty much what every new villain does, man. They completely show up whatever latest "power up" our heroes have.
Just an impossible desire that I may particularly have, man... The most disgusting thing in BOG was the overpower of the two new introduced characthers... So Bills is most powerful than Vegito? And Whis is more powerful than both? Bullshit
I don't see what's so unbelievable about their strength.

Well except for the 30 page manga chapter and the F movie updates for DB Heroes including character designs/cards for Vegeta, Tagoma and Sorbet.

Wow, cutting Goten up into little pieces??
When did it get so dark all of a sudden?

It makes sense for Bulma to be on the battlefield though, if Trunks has been killed by Freeza...:o

Re: Chapter 1 cover

Has Vegeta ever been in the center of a big group shot like this staring off against the main villain and not been the main character at that particular time? Just checking for any dents in my "This-is-secretly-The-Vegeta-Movie-even-though-it-has-yet-to-be-marketed-as-such" theory. (After having been burned by the "Dragon Ball to the Future: Part II" theory).

Oh, how I wish FnF would have animation as good as the Pretty Cure movie. But we all know how Toei feel about Dragon Ball, they're gonna cut corners everywhere.

If the animation quality for Goku vs Freeza in the movie looked something like this, it would be unbelievable. :P
Where the heck is that Goku vs Freeza scene from!? :O

I get what you said, but the overpower really piss me of, also Vegeta never explained "hidden power" was something that turned me off

Ultimate Gohan was the most strongest warrior in DBZ he, SSJ3 Goku, Gotenks are treated like crap by Bills and Vegeta the weakest of the 3 somehow managed to throw some punchs at him, ridiculous... Sometimes I think Toriyama don't take us fans that grew up watching the series seriously. I was expecting for something yet funny but serious, epic with a good story and context, BOG was the extreme opposite of that

Vegeta's boost was powered by rage and his love for Bulma. That's the explanation. Think back to when Gohan was a toddler. He nearly KO'd Raditz in one hit due to his rage. Like a lot of Shounen, deep emotions play a large part in someone's strength.

And it's not that Toriyama doesn't take fans seriously. It's that he doesn't take the series itself seriously. And that, IMO, is a good thing. This next part isn't geared at you specifically, but I've noticed this a lot in the fanbase. It takes the show too seriously/literally. People care way too much about Power Levels, Multipliers, and "Who is stronger than who?". Everyone's too caught up in in technicalities like whether Freeza should have been reincarnated as pieces or as a cloud/gas (Who gives a shit? Why does such a small detail matter?) instead of just sitting back and enjoying cool fights and poop jokes.

Dragon Ball Heroes has always a gap of two months, so it's okay when you know when will have an update. And I'm preparing myself to deal with just some content of Movie 15 being showed in Heroes, though of course I prefer to see them in the actual news for the movie.

That Bulma Blog looks like it's updating once a day; there's that too. In fact, if the pattern holds, expect day 57's update in a couple hours.

I find it weird that Goku's defeat of Buu is considered more relevant of a mention to Freeza considering Freeza shouldnt have any idea who or what Majin Buu was.

Yes. I wish they themselves got stronger and really stopped relying on Fusion before anything else. By now as older teens they should have SSJ2 seperately.

If that's all you want, then all you want is fanservice, rather than an actual coherent story. And of course those aren't mutually exclusive; you could have a coherent story with "shine" moments! But if a story is perfectly coherent (and I'm really not seeing any compelling arguments that this one is anything but, despite constantly recurring, really poorly reasoned, attempts to argue otherwise), and you're bemoaning the lack of "shine" moments as a reason for the story's poor quality, then you're letting your thirst for "shine" moments obfuscate your ability to detect basic storytelling when it's right in front of you.

shadd21 wrote:So what's this about Freeza telling Baba to make sure Majin Buu or Beerus don't fight Goku?
It's almost certainly some sort of wacky mistranslation. Quite possibly they misread "papa" as "baba", which is pretty easy to do in Japanese. I don't know why Freeza would be talking with King Cold about Boo and Beerus, but it makes loads more sense than the idea of him having chats with Roshi's sister. Also, baba is simply one of the Japanese words for a grandma or old lady; "Baba" isn't the actual name of Roshi's sister, it's part of her professional nickname: Uranai Baba/"the Fortune-Telling Granny". So Freeza might have been referring to a "baba", and the translators just incorrectly assumed this meant the Baba. Maybe we'll see Freeza's grandmother in the movie? Or it really could just be Roshi's sister. Crazier things have happened.

Sort of already happened, since Nail was Dende's brother. Remember, all the Namekians on Namek during the Freeza arc were the Great Elder's direct children, all 100+ of them. Dende himself explains this to Bulma et al, and says he's the Great Elder's 108th child.

I think Freeza just really needs to get to the point where he's not only stronger, but strong enough to pull off a transformation or two. :? But I agree with Big Momma that these things like power levels and how they got too said power levels, is really not that important to me.

I also have no interest in the power level stuff. :3 That's why I've been staying out of those parts of this thread.

They're doing a great job at keeping things confusing in terms of what new info they reveal. @_@

I'd be ok with the Bulma Blog continuing as it is with Gokû dropping by and dropping hints obscured by either him not knowing the name of what things are called or just forgetting parts of things so you get a puzzle-type sort of image going on. :3

There was a video about V-Jump. I think you can find it if you go back only a few pages.
