Discussion regarding the entirety of the franchise in a general (meta) sense, including such aspects as: production, trends, merchandise, fan culture, and more.
Tenshinhan is indeed stronger at Saiyan Saga till the Android Saga, he stopped Cell for a brief moment, he could stop for a moment Super Boo (Gotenks Absorbed) too
Tien didn't stop shit. He just deflected a generic ki blast from Super Buutenks.
Tenshinhan was training all that time gap between Cell and Boo if he wasn't stronger than Krillin at the moment, he easily surpassed him at time.
There is nothing to suggest how much Tien's training improves his strength in a period of time.

Teen Gotenks perhaps? Because I'm dying for Gotenks to kick some ass again.

To be honest, I don't think we will see Gotenks, though I want that so badly and hope it happens. And I speak individually. I just can't shake it... Just believing and feeling. Kinda weird, isn't?

And something tells me that if Gotenks appears in this movie it would be his child form instead of teen form(even though he technically is a teen in the movie).
Dragon Ball Heroes God Mission = Best sets of missions so far
Actually, now that I think about, the movie takes place no more than a year after BOG, so neither Trunks or Goten would be teenagers yet.

Whereas the Kienzan has actually done some serious damage against the majority of the opponent it has been used against. Hell, many other characters copied Krillin's technique because of it effectiveness.
Which means we can't really use it as an effective gauge for saying Krillin is stronger than Tien, who could probably copy the move too if he wanted.

You know, if Batte of Gods indeed happened in 778, Son Goten and Trunks were already supposed to look older (or just bigger, considering Akira is rejuvenating everyone ).
After Battle of Gods, it would be weird to at least not address Trunks since Mai is in this movie, and wherever Trunks is, Goten isn't far behind. Personally, I wouldn't worry about it. They'll probably show up in some way.

Rapid growth spurt? Or they could actually have died (Kami forgive).

Imagine if DB started these days. It would go like this:
"hey, what's happening in Dragon Ball today?"
"Goku wants Mutenroshi to train him, so he's bringing him some chicks now."
"oh i see, just slice of life filler then. skippable. "
At least I can breathe some fresh air. No contradictions with Bulma's statement, and Bills' summary leads to believe he will ended up waking up before those three years.
Okay Akira, no more movies taking place one year after other. From now on, they must happen at the same year.

Anyways, is there any designs on characters like Oolong, Yamcha, Puar, Chi-Chi, and Tenshinhan?

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I'm just about done with the concept of reboots and making shows that were products of their time and impactful "new and sexy" and in line with modern tastes and sensibilities. Let stuff stay in their era and give today's kids their own shit to watch.
I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.
http://www.dragonball2015.com/character/ There are some characters designes, i really like Goku, Vegeta, Videl, and Tenshinhan, he looks like a teacher in re-opened Crane school

Good thing for him, based on the comments on him from this site alone.

Don't make me laugh, V-Jump is not even an official guide like Daizenshuu. Tien stoped Cell for a while yes, I doubt Krillin could do that, same for Super Boo (Gotenks Absorbed), Tien is indeed stronger, Toriyama can say whatever he wants but how can I take seriously a guy that forget who was Vegetto once? He is contradicting his own manga, even in the anime if you ignore filler parts you will conclude that Tien > Krillin

I believe we have seen the character design for Tien.

It would be funny if Trunks isn't shown until the very end of the movie. He just walks in after Frieza's already defeated ("Hey, guys. What did I miss?"), and Frieza, mistaking him for Future Trunks, runs away in fear.
