For anyone who has the PC version, has anyone ever been able to login to the multi-lobby? I haven't been able to login since yesterday...

I was able to log in for a bit today. Didn't last long, though.

Your create a character can transform into a Super Saiyan in-game. I've not played around with the show's characters to see if that's the case with them, too. At a guess, I imagine only some can since a few character's transformations are separate characters.

RB definitely had better cel-shading, I'll give you that. But, I dunno...I definitely prefer DIMPS models over Spike's. Neither are perfect, but Spikes' are just too round and stout.

Got the Dragon Balls again, so time to wish for another new character (since that does seem to be the only way of getting SS4 Gogeta, Super 17, and Omega Shenron). Not sure if you get them in the same order for everyone, but I got SS4 Gogeta, and this time...it's Super 17.

Oh, speaking of Dragon Balls, I found an easier place to get them from - Parallel Quest #2 'Prepare for the Attack of the Saiyans!'. Just go in there with a character you're pretty confident with (just to save time) who's also a total powerhouse (SS4 Gogeta works wonders for this), and go to town on Kuririn, Tenshinhan, and Yamcha. Then turn and look at the building with your Scouter function (it works whether you have a Scouter equipped or not), and see if a Time Patroller has shown up. If not, go to retry and beat those three again until he/she does show up. Beat them, and if they drop a 'key item' you should be good. If not, go to retry again. Once it gives you the key item though, just go through the portal, beat Kid Gohan and Piccolo (and Goku if he shows up), and wha-la! Dragon Ball get!

I know it sounds more complicated than the mission where you have to fight Freeza, but these guys are a lot easier to punt around faster.

It looked kinda bland at times, the blocky models/animations didn't help either. Burst Limit remains my favourite due to how vibrant it looks, while the models look incredibly good (some look better than Xenoverse, like Broly, Cell and C-18), the arenas look so lively it just adds to the experience.

Xenoverse looks fine for a PS360 game but yeah, it could look a bit better at times, the models look a bit too shiny while the stages are the opposite. STILL MY FAVOURITE GAME, I'm loving it so much, created a Namekian because damn those Goku clones in the Online Toki-Toki. Like how it feels like Phantasy Star Online in the quest side of things with how random it works (DESPITE IT MAKING ME PULL MY HAIR OFF), the gameplay is extremely solid tho I do miss a few things from the other DBZ games as said earlier, the CaC is fantastic, it has so much replay value (you'll want to come back to Z-Rank everything believe me) and overall it's just really fun. FUCK THE SUPER ARMOR ON THE ENEMIES WHY IS IT THERE GOD.

Xenoverse on PC is up from yesterday's 19,625 to 22,332 concurrent players. It peaked most at 5pm ET with off-peak numbers sitting at around 10K. Not a bad little community at all.

Good to see it growing as word gets out. I wonder how high it'll hit before it starts to decline.

Yes, you can transform. Transformations take an ultimate slot. Super Saiyan drains your ki slowly and when it runs out you go back to base. Things like Kaioken are considered a transformation super move and take up a super slot. Kaioken, on the other hand, is based off your stamina gauge (what's used to block, vanish, etc.) and drains that until it runs out, powering you off.

Just made Uub (or a reasonable facsimile of him) as another character in, so now I can confirm a few things.

1) On a new character, you do have access to everything you've unlocked with your main character. All items, skills, outfits, levels with masters, everything's still there.
2) Your character does start anew at Lv. 1 of course though.
3) Unfortunately, you can only have one custom character at a time though, meaning you can't have them fight each other, or have the custom characters make a team or anything. So that kinda sucks.

Yes! I beat the story mode and got all the shards! Yet Appule n his gang killed Bardock. Strong buggers. Also my teacher Vegeta is asking for the "I'm the Earth's Strongest" something. I assumed it was the Z assist skilled n looked for it. I found it in a PQ but I Z ranked and didn't get it. However its lit up on the Basic Rewards page. So did I really get it?

Edit: I just got said item:

I honestly don't know why people would grieve over the graphics quality. Yes, the environments need touching up and the brightness/lightning should be adjusted. But it's still a beautiful game and the characters don't have those static, lifeless expressions like in other games. The story is marvelous and outstrips every other DBZ game for doing something much more fun and original for the franchise and giving us a taste of the DBO experience that we never had, while mixing those RPG elements with the in-game battle system.

I still have some grievances myself, but not really about the graphics.

1. Stamina replenishes far too slowly to really make use of Kaioken. Super Saiyan is by far and large the most superior "Transformation" in the game.
2. Super Saiyan is the only real Transformation in the game. Nothing available to any of the other races can even compare with it and certain combinations can effectively make SSJ last almost indefinitely depending on the battle conditions. Majin, Earthling, Namekian and Frost Demon absolutely need a comparable transformation-of-sorts.
3. Unlocked trainers should always appear in set locations throughout the hub world so that they are always available, and not just appear in a random location with a randomly selected trainer.
3-Note: I still haven't been able to get Freeza as a trainer. 1stly because I was knee-deep in training with Cell, and the only other two times I've seen Freeza in the multi-dozens of times loading into the hub world, was when on a character too low level to pick him up as my trainer.
4. Not enough variety in race-specific gear for those wishing to play either as a ranged blaster or a close-range fighter. Example being Frost Demon armor sets geared specifically for Basic attacks and Strike Supers with always a negative towards Blast Supers. Which seems to fly in the face of Freeza's character as he was more inclined to shoot beams at people than engage in HTH.

Wait, so I can't use all of Freeza's or Cell's transformations during a match?

I've beaten the main story and I am enjoying the game so far(I would enjoy it even more if it wasn't for super armour and RNG). For my fellow dragon ball farmers I recommend PQ 12 as for this one the time patroller appears in the first area without having to fight the Ginyus beforehand, so if he/she isn't there you can restart the mission again until he/she appears and complete the mission from there.

It can keep opponents at bay since it's limitless in range and it penetrates nullifying attacks. The CPU knows this and will use it to it's advantage in higher difficulties at least in Budokai 3.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.
