For some reason we're not allowed to make a spoiler free topic just in case. I'd like that so in the main thread we can go all out. Though for Xenoverse the idea was turned down. So it'll likely not exist here.

Yeah being that I actually plan to go see the movie in theatres in Japan at the start of May then I'm gonna steer clear from this thread once I find out that a minute by minute plot rundown is on here, I'd rather it be at least a bit of a surprise when I see it.

Even if I wasn't going to see it, I probably still wouldn't want to know.

It wasn't revealed in his biography found on the official website for the movie?

That just says 18 shaves Kuririn's head because he's keying up for his first fight in a long time. And it's in the present tense ("she shaves his head" instead of "she shaved his head"), which makes me wonder if 18 shaving his head will be something we actually see in the movie. Anyway, this blog post is apparently set before he gets his head shaved, and...well, I'll just go translate the darn thing.

...Also, wasn't there supposed to be a part 2 for the Momoiro Clover Z thing? I guess that must be coming later.

Looks like there's going to be a special weeklong theatrical run for Battle of Gods leading up to the new movie's release, with one venue in each major Japanese city. (With apologies to Sendai, which isn't on the list despite showing a preview of the new movie on the 30th.)

Why is it so hard to understand there can be stronger soldiers in Freeza's army? I mean, Avo and Cado are Canon, when they fuse their power is comparable to atleast Survive Gotenks' attack who at this point could finish up Piccolo real quick. I am getting really sad over this constant doomtalk :C. Anyways, I like the scans, couldn't see them very well, I think this is gonna be much more interesting than BoG, fingers crossed.

Why is it so hard to understand there can be stronger soldiers in Freeza's army? I mean, Avo and Cado are Canon, when they fuse their power is comparable to atleast Survive Gotenks' attack who at this point could finish up Piccolo real quick.

One would think that if the heroes are able to grow so strong over time, the villains could as well. It's not like all of Freeza's army are just locked into their Namek-arc strength levels.

Exactly, if Piccolo and the earthlings have insane potential, that means that the higher ranked aliens have atleast the same potential to grow stronger, like the Ginyu Force, what would happen if they had survived and trained endlessly until Fukkatsu No F?. They would atleast be Piccolo-fused with kami tier. That must have happened here, an Ginyu-tier alien kept training until the events of the movie.

Frieza was the self proclaimed strongest in the universe who was defeated by the legendary Super Saiyan. Piccolo far surpassed these when he became a Super Namek so it is hard to understand why some henchmen is capable of knocking him around.

As I said before if there's a soldier strong enough to do that to Piccolo then why even bother reviving Frieza?

Why is Tagoma who is on Zarbons level the bodyguard of Sorbet when there's guys apparently much stronger?

If there isn't an explanation as to why (and I'm sure there probably will be) then it is kinda bullshit.

Also Aka was defeated in one shot from Super Saiyan Goku so wasn't really that impressive even when fused.

Peoples problem is Tagoma is confirmed Zarbon/Dodoria level. If this mook is this strong, then he'd be in charge of Freeza's army. Or better yet they wouldn't need Freeza if this guy was better than he was.

I think I'll pass on that this time. The advance screening in Tokyo will take place on Monday. I'm now a full-time worker and probably won't be able to go. Also, honestly, I'm not as excited as I was when BoG was coming.

Guys, don't jump to conclusions over that pic. The soldier may have gotten a sucker punch in that Piccolo will easily retaliate from. Remember, they are fighting hundreds of soldiers at once.

Piccolo isn't Broly or Cell. He flinches like a normal person. Doesn't mean he's damaged.

And assuming the soldier IS at his level, maybe it's not simply because the soldier trained. Maybe all the soldiers had their strength augmented through magic or technology. I mean, these guys now have regeneration pods.

And... assuming I'm completely wrong, you may all proceed. : )

I certainly think there are reasons why they'd want him back, I'm just hoping we get to see the new villian's motivations.
