Because each of those soldiers got into groups of six until they made a huge amount of Super Mook Gods. Hence the ass kicking they will give everyone. Beware the power of the happy fun time circle educed mooks of death.MasterVampire wrote:Why bother fighting 100's of soldiers all at once?fadeddreams5 wrote:Guys, don't jump to conclusions over that pic. I don't know Clover Z, But if they do that kind of stuff DBZ or not, the way you think about things is good.kei17 wrote:I don't know much about the fan base because I'm not interested in idol groups in the first place, but I think it's mixture of nerdy pedophiles and girls adoring show business. So, I'm not happy with Momoiro Clover Z being involved with the franchise.

Can't recall a point with the Z characters caring about the bystanders when they are in battle.

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
There's a certain amount of "let's go somewhere uninhabited so we don't get these innocent people caught in the mix" throughout the series (in reality this was just Toriyama's way of keeping fights from taking place in cities or any other difficult-to-draw places). The big example is probably with 19 and 20 on the island. Goku leading Vegeta to somewhere where they wouldn't mess up his dead friends' bodies is in the same vein. Apart from location-switching, see also Gohan apparently holding back some of his power during the final beam struggle with Cell out of fear of harming the Earth.Friezacooler wrote:Can't recall a point with the Z characters caring about the bystanders when they are in battle.

There's a difference between not getting all torn up over civilian casualties, and actually being the one to kill them all. Piccolo certainly seemed to take it hard when he asked Buu to spend his time killing the rest of the people of Earth. Aside from Vegeta, none of them are the kind of mass murderers that blowing up cities just to take out Freeza's armies would make them.Friezacooler wrote:Can't recall a point with the Z characters caring about the bystanders when they are in battle.

Not that you aren't right about that, but it's really their own damn fault for the casualties in the Cyborg arc and the Boo arc. Both times they could have avoided the casualty count by simply being good people. Instead they decided it'd be more fun to fight the Cyborgs, and in the Boo arcs case, let the living handle the problem a dead guy helped cause.Herms wrote:There's a certain amount of "let's go somewhere uninhabited so we don't get these innocent people caught in the mix" throughout the series (in reality this was just Toriyama's way of keeping fights from taking place in cities or any other difficult-to-draw places). Kinda makes me wonder how much they really care for people honestly. That's an issue straight from the manga I have.

Re: Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Fukkatsu no F"
I think it's arguably a secondary concern for Goku and Vegeta at least, who are unique in that they're consumed by a rivalry and the urge to challenge themselves - but for everyone else? I don't think so, there isn't so much of a moral grey area even in someone like Piccolo. In the Buu arc, he truly agonises over Super Buu nonchalantly massacring the human race and not being able to do anything about it, whereas Goku's reaction is more along the lines of: 'don't sweat it, we can fix this later with the Dragonballs'.dbzfan7 wrote: Kinda makes me wonder how much they really care for people honestly. Well at least during the Cyborgs, Piccolo seemed to be on the side to fight the Cyborgs over stopping them from existing. Maybe merging with God changed him.Blade wrote:I think it's arguably a secondary concern for Goku and Vegeta at least, who are unique in that they're consumed by a rivalry and the urge to challenge themselves - but for everyone else? Has anyone mentioned the possibility of SH Figuarts doing movie tie-in's for Revival of Z yet? Cuz from a pic that I saw, it's happening. Crossing my fingers for a re-release of Frieza and Vegeta here. Frieza's new form is inevitable.

Changing subject a bit..
It seems there's a bit of emphasis on Beerus firing that blast.
It may just be a gag scene, where Beerus is woken up too soon by Goku and Vegeta's training with Whis and so just demonstrates his dislike of that by firing a ki blast, that doesn't do much.
But what if it does something more? That becomes relevant towards the end of the movie?
I think Beerus's blast will somehow open a portal to another universe and that's where they'll take Freeza at the end

Even if that happens I don't see how it could effect him cause he's on earth.dbgtFO wrote:I think Beerus's blast will somehow open a portal to another universe and that's where they'll take Freeza at the end
In terms of him surviving I highly doubt it'll happen.

I'm bummed about that screen shot of unconscious Gohan and I shouldn't be because it's obvious he wasn't going to be an important part of the main fight anyway. I hope he at least manages to get good scenes while he's around, hopefully he doesn't get one shotted by one of the minions.
And about idols, it is a bit of an icky situation, but Momoclo are some of the least gravure prone idols as far as I know, they rarely pose in bikinis or stuff like that, and I think they have a big female fanbase because of their fun acrobatic performances. I don't really follow them closely, but that's what I know.
