The hardest PQ for me, by far, was 37. Super Buu was so hungry he kept trying to eat Kamehamehas. He wouldn't stop. He finally got filled up on them by my 3rd try.

Aaaaaaand, finished all the Parallel Quests, got SSJ4 Goku, beat the Bardock/Broly stuff, reached level 80, and am training under Beerus. It's been a productive night

I got Super 17. I just need one more wish and I have all the characters. My season pass was bought so I have all DLC characters once they come.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

Okay, so the last PQ I need to beat is 55. I did it online with a group, but unlike the other 3, it didn't register as completed? Do I HAVE to do it solo first, or was this a glitch or something? If it was a glitch, it was super unfortunate since we got an Ultimate FInish too...
Also, the last "character" I need is the Fiendish Broli (except SS4 Goku and Super Yi Xing Long). I would have thought that would have unlocked in PQ49 (or whatever number one is was where you fight that version of him in space). Is it actually 55 that gives him to you, and I didn't unlock it since it didn't register?
EDIT: Working on collecting Dragon Balls for Super Yi Xing Long since I couldn't find a room for that PQ and now the servers are apparently down. Seems to be a pattern of giving me all but one ball and then reeeeeeeally making me struggle with my patience for that last one. Like those commercials where someone dangles a dollar right out of your reach with a fishing pole.

Z-Soul - Help
How comes, that I completed PQ #25 like 30 times, with ultimate finish and Z rank, still hasn't dropped me C17's "Now I'm fighting for real" Z-soul. What do I do wrong?
Don't tell me it's just an unlucky RNG roll, after 30 wins it sounds pretty much impossible. Maybe I have to hit them with certain techniques? Who drops it, anyone or only C17?
Any of you who got it already: which map droped it, the 1st, 2nd or 3rd? What type of technique did you use? Strike, Ki, normal? Pls. help me

what are the stats for beerus clothing, how many plus arrows in which categories and how many minus arrows in which? Thinking about hitting the quest more that earns it.

So I've got a noob question for someone who is halfway through Cell/Androids- how do vanishes work, exactly? I beat Trunks too fast to get the tutorial replaying the intro!
Also, it turns out no one suggests specializing in Strike Supers. Well too bad for me! Hypocrisy of how one specializes in strike supers without vanishing aside.

I really like idea of having fully animated scenes in the cut scenes. It's just a shame that there's so little of it that it sort of ends up feeling out of place with the rest of the game.Lord Beerus wrote:About 4 minutesBullza wrote:How many minutes worth of animated footage is there in this game?
I get that it's probably down to a number of reasons. I just think the story would have been much better for it. It reminds me a little bit of Ni No Kuni in that respect.

Do you learn anything useful under Ginyu? I've already learned everything from the masters available, and I'm currently grinding so I can train under Cell.

Not sure, but you do have to do Ginyu's training before you can do Freeza's.Doctor. wrote:Do you learn anything useful under Ginyu? I've already learned everything from the masters available, and I'm currently grinding so I can train under Cell.

So doing quests online with a group will count as clearing them? Well...I know what I'm gonna have to do for a fair amount of them.

The same also applies with Beerus; you need to do Goku's training before Beerus becomes available.Kamiccolo9 wrote:Not sure, but you do have to do Ginyu's training before you can do Freeza's.Doctor. wrote:Do you learn anything useful under Ginyu? Can anyone provide a link to where Xenoverse's producer mentioned about the 1 year+ support after the games release. Some minor non believers at SI need to be re educated again.

FINALLY got all the Dragon Balls again, and still kind of annoyed I'm going to have to waste a wish to re-distribute my points temporarily at least just to be able to (hopefully) clear the Bardock mission...but what must be done must be done.
I've got, it looks like, 168 points to work with, so I'm thinking of throwing 100 of them into my basic attack, and then the other 68 into my Beam Supers. With any luck that should have me wrecking crap with ease.

I know, but the guy in question is under level 30, so he's still a ways off from training with Goku.BlazingBarrrager wrote:The same also applies with Beerus; you need to do Goku's training before Beerus becomes available.Kamiccolo9 wrote:Not sure, but you do have to do Ginyu's training before you can do Freeza's.Doctor. wrote:Do you learn anything useful under Ginyu? You're supposed to be able to hold the guard button RB(R1) and then press Jump and a direction to teleport behind them because super armour provides immunity to flinch from the front. However the controls are horrible. It is literally impossible to judge which direction you need to push to successfully teleport behind. Sometimes it's forward, sometimes it's left, sometimes it's right. I've been struggling to complete Cell and that one PQ Kid Gohan provides because most of the time I just teleport on the spot rather than getting behind them and then I just get punished. And on the lucky chance I get a vanish from behind the NPC will do the "light attack + backwards" attack to hit me while I'm behind them. Negating the whole purpose of being able to vanish behind the opponent. The other way to take out characters with super armour is to just Ki blast them until the super armour is negated. But this arduous and if you don't attack at the right time following the Ki blasts the super armour will just proc again allowing the enemy to punish you yet again.BlazingFiddlesticks wrote:So I've got a noob question for someone who is halfway through Cell/Androids- how do vanishes work, exactly? The combat system is honestly horrendous compared to past instalments. The only reason I bought the game was because the story and customisation seemed interesting. I guess I'll have to grind till I'm at a point where damage from these characters is negligible and just wear them down because right now it is impossible with the way the current controls. Not to mention that I'll be randomly disconnected after a battle. If I want to play this game offline why shouldn't I be allowed to? Offline really isn't offline if it still needs an internet connection...

You just press the jump button before you get hit. No need to guard or anything.Hitiro wrote:You're supposed to be able to hold the guard button RB(R1) and then press Jump and a direction to teleport behind them because super armour provides immunity to flinch from the front.BlazingFiddlesticks wrote:So I've got a noob question for someone who is halfway through Cell/Androids- how do vanishes work, exactly? The tutorial with Trunks says that is the most effective is guarding plus vanishing only uses up 1 stamina bar as opposed to 2.Kamiccolo9 wrote:You just press the jump button before you get hit. No need to guard or anything.
Edit: Just did what you suggested. Guess what happened? Yes. I teleported not behind him but in front of him...

I'm sorry, but you're doing something wrong then. I've finished basically everything in the game, and never had a problem with vanishing, and it's literally the only defensive move I do other than my ultimates.Hitiro wrote:The tutorial with Trunks says that is the most effective is guarding plus vanishing only uses up 1 stamina bar as opposed to 2.Kamiccolo9 wrote:You just press the jump button before you get hit.
