Meh, it's not really the gold that bothers me about Frieza, it's just the application of it. I think it would look way... cooler if his complexion was as reflective as Cooler's. With all of those high contrasting and elaborate shadings and highlights.

Broly is still an entertaining foe. Frieza was an average villain at best, with interesting backstory. Nothing was great abt him

Janemba, Hirudergarn, Kid Buu were all one-note villain. Broly was no different, though had cool design & definetly leagues above the crap dude in RoF.

In addition to this lofty goal, the interview reveals that Revival of “F” will see an “ultra-expansion in showings” with the film set to premiere on “640-650 screens” across Japan. In comparison, Battle of Gods premiered on 312 screens in Japan (as reported by Cinema Today).

That's really surprising and something that I haven't really noticed to ever happen with any anime film before.

The Studio Ghibli films directed by Mizakai, some of the biggest anime films ever had a screen count in the 450-ish range while the Doraemon, Pokémon, Detective Conan and One Piece movies which are amongst the most popular anime movies based on a series only get in the 350-ish range like Battle of Gods did.

As I sorta said before a screen count of 650 or so is usually what you'd get for the likes of Monsters Inc, Frozen or Despicable Me 2.

I guess they're really pushing for this one to do well.

There's gotta be some crazy plot twists in this film to give them this sort of confidence! (⊙_⊙)

Tanaka: Goku’s fighting scenes in the film were at such a mad pace that Nozawa had to practically tear through the script (laughs). It was a real highlight.

I hope the kids enjoy the fun battles, so as far as Kuririn goes, there’s always how he’s the strongest Earthling. In the movie Kuririn gets asked who he is, and it felt good to shoot back with “I’m an Earthling”. Since on Earth Kuririn is strongest. Not Satan, you know (laughs).

With this film, Kuririn’s already become a family man, and I had kind of figured he wouldn’t really be going into battle; he’d just watch from the sidelines and not get a turn himself. So it was great that he actually fights alongside Goku.

I’ve felt for a while now that Kuririn’s a true family man, the sort who can make women happy. Although I suppose he’s no lady-killer, nowadays I think Kuririn’s really the type most able to complete a woman’s happiness; I’m glad that’s the way he is.

If you look at things not only from a fighting viewpoint, but also as what it means to be a fighting man who loves his family, try talking with your parents and then re-watching it from that perspective. I hope people can enjoy it like that too.

Man, reading Tanaka's words there, it's no wonder her performance is easily my favorite. She just...she completely gets what makes Kuririn tick, it's amazing. It's also no wonder I just can't separate her voice from Kuririn in my mind, making it harder to hear her in other roles unfortunately.

That's not to say Nozawa and the others don't completely know their characters too (they always have, and after this many years, you'd just about have to!), but there's just something amazingly right about Tanaka's words here.

This is just another error. It's not like we haven't seen a ton of those in the movie and its promotional material, but this is just ridiculous. Krillin should not be this stupid, and neither should his voice actor.

Mr. Satan defeated Pure Majin Buu and Perfect Cell. The only reason either of them lasted more than a few seconds was because he was held back by his compassion and a stomachache respectively. He also defeated Android 18 in just one punch. We all saw it. Why is his voice actor parroting blatantly incorrect information? In-universe, who the fuck does Krillin think he is to declare himself the strongest Earthling, when he can't even scratch his wife, the same wife that Satan one-shotted? He's lucky that the champ is so merciful, and won't smack him down for his insolence, as would be justified.

That's how the trailer is supposed to be make you feel, I believe. I don't think he will actually do it though.

Or if Freeza were to threaten his family. It would be interesting if what was, in Battle of Gods, the cause of his strength (Bulma being attacked) ends up being, in FnF, his weakness, especially if any rage boost he might gain isn't enough to handle Golden Freeza.

Yogengyo to appear in the movie it's was already known, but it's fine that there's a chance for that fish to have scenes together with Goku.


As for the second picture collage.... It's not really surprising. I'm very worried about Fukkatsu No F to mirror the Freeza saga as Goku being Vegeta and Vegeta being Goku.
