Official On-Going DBZ 2015 Movie Thread: "Resurrection 'F'"

He has the Magenta hair in the poster so we'll probably see it in the movie.

Maybe it turns to that when he charges his ki ? or when he absorbs an attack like he did in BOG ?

Man, it is so... I don't know. Not even a change, if Ultimate Son Gohan we could barely say what changed in that form, that Kakarot does not even change at all. His hair is the same, his expression is the same...

I know you're a Vegeta fan and all but I recommend lowering your expectations because if you end up going to the movie, and Vegeta is not the main star at all, you'll hate the movie even if it turns out to be good.

And listening to nonstop Vegeta fanboying in every post is annoying.

How can SSJ be the essence of the series when well more than half the series, SSJ didn't even exist? Of the 42 volumes of the manga, it takes to volume 27 for our first Super Saiyan to appear. Pretty sure something has to exist for at least half of a series to be the "essence".

Please... Don't play that on me, if you want to consider only the manga. Okay, not problem with that... But "The Super Saiyan essence" goes
far beyond that, you know... What are the first words to come up in our minds when we talk about DB/Z/GT? Yes...
Goku, Super Saiyans, Story, Vegeta, Battles, Epic Scenes, Power and etc.

If we take into account all the media, anime episodes, movies, specials, OVAs, videogames, parodies we get at the easy conclusion that Super Saiyan is in fact the essence of the series in overall.

Ditching Super Saiyan 2 and 3 Is good if we get more DBZ. I think thats the reason why Tori is ditching those transformations.

Of course not! I would prefer no more DBZ if we had a Saga without Super Saiyans. I don't want any new transformation I just want the original one, SSJ2 and SSJ3! They deserve more consideration from the author itself and TOEI (who loves to forget about SSJ2)

1. Cuz blue tint in hair would match Goku's red tint in hair... Or coud you see Goku getting the same state as Vegeta in the next movie and having blue hair? Most likely not

Of course, these all suck, but this is the franchise that gave us "Super Saiyan (insert number here)," Super Vegetto" and "Super Saiyan Grade (insert number here.)"

No, that blue version would be the Ultimate Daimond Evolution Saiyan form as the daimond is tougher than the gold.

I had to rely on Dragon Ball wiki, and they say it is "God Goku", in other words, it is the same as "mystic" for Son Gohan indeed, just the power comes from the transformation, you can access it in your base form, that is why there is no change at all. I translated the "transformation" section from that Kakarot's card on Google translator and it says "Saiyan beyond God", or something like that.

With these pieces of information, I can't see further transformations, the max we're gonna see is Super Saiyan, and even that being said, the probability is almost 0 of it to appear again, but we shall see that. It is really insteresting, though not exciting.

Now I'm like Chuquita, hungry for information and explanation. What if Dragon Ball wiki is right? What if Kakarot has indeed this "God Goku" form which Dragon Ball Heroes has shown to us?

No one cares that Freeza trained and got stronger. It's the fact he trained for FOUR MONTHS and is already stronger then SSJ God.

Yeah but how much time passed between when Goku left for Namek and when he fought Freeza? How much stronger did he get? It was a ridiculous level of strength gained. Freeza's power level at 100% pure final form was on a level that no one could touch and yet Goku miraculously was able to do so in a short amount of time.

According to the DB timeline... Goku is hospitalized from his fight with Vegeta (which was on Nov. 3rd), November 4th of Age 762. Goku leaves for Namek on December 18 of Age 762 and completes his training under 100x gravity by December 23rd. Goku transforms into a SSJ on December 24th. That means in a span of just over a month Goku went from his power level fighting the saiyans to Freeza's level and beyond. The difference in their power between when he left and when he defeated Freeza was about as astronomical as this.

To put things in perspective. Radditz arrived only one year before that when everyone's power levels were below 1000. It's not that hard to believe.

The perceived strength of SSJ3 Goku vs. Beerus is unknown. Goku could have been completely defeated by a flick of Freeza's finger if Freeza had run into him when Radditz did. Freeza was like a million times stronger. Goku was able to close-in on that in about a year. Most of that in just about a month.

Goku's power level only went up from 30,000 to almost 200,000 in that month he trained on his way to Namek. That's not nearly as crazy as Freeza's power change from being weaker then a SSJ1 to being stronger then a SSJ God. The only thing that makes Goku's power up on Namek crazy AFTER he trained was his zenkai he got after he was healed, going from 200,000 all the way to Freeza's final form at 1%. But Freeza doesn't get zenkais so it doesn't matter.

It's not about hard numbers but proportions. Back then those kinds of gains were huge, way more than gaining a few millions later on.
