Best Pre-Budokai era Game?
As many of us know, Dragon Ball games before the revolutionary first Budokai game had a less than favorable reputation of being little more than low-quality cash-ins with qualities generally ranging from mediocre to pure shit (looking at you Final Bout).
Which game do you think was the best of the worst?

Haven't we already gotten these in GT? Goku dies, the DBs go away, and the Namekian DBs most likely won't be used again because of the Evil Dragons.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Re: Best Pre-Budokai era Game?
The only pre-Budokai game i played was i think UB22 (it was reissued in the early 2000s along with Final Bout to cash in on the franchise's English popularity). I also religiously played LSW but wasn't that made around the same time as the first Budokai?

DBZ Legends was amazing, even if you could finish it in a day
which I did.
Funny Story. This game was my first exposure to the full dbz history, and I thought Vegito was a type of Farmer Gohan XD

There's room for only one snake, and one big boss.

#3 DBZ Super Butouden 2. A weird but fun story mode and a very addictive gameplay.
#2 DBZ Legendary Super Warriors. Very long and challenging story mode, addicting vs cpu mode. Just amazing.
#1 DBZ Legends. I think it's the best DBZ game. Yeah, even better that Budokai,Tenkaichi,Xenoverse, etc.
