Links are forbidden, I believe.

Been hunting for those scans myself for a while though.

Well, here's what the forum rules say:
Rule #5: No Bootlegging
We do not condone bootlegging. When it comes down to it, Dragon Ball has had a very rough journey in various countries, but we are finally at the point where we can legally purchase many of the things we want and support our fandom. We recognize that there is a fine line with regard to things such as “unreleased” and comparatively-ancient material, so just be wary and respectful of that line. Discussions about and direct links to actively-pirating material (including illegal scanlation and video downloads) is not only frowned upon by the entire community, but will potentially result in strikes against your account and removal from the rest of the discussion.
Reading that...I'm actually not sure if that extends to links to raw images. Scanlations are definitely excluded, particularly for the main DB manga series itself, since that has an official English release as well as official releases in just about any language you could name. People have posted up lots of pictures from both RoF manga chapters and that was OK, but posting up the entire chapter or links to the entire chapter is probably different. People also post up raw images from the kanzenban or other Japanese manga releases all the time, and that's treated as OK, but again it'd be different if people were putting up entire chapters. And like the rules say, there's a bit of leeway when it comes to things without a proper release. For that matter, even those scanlations of Jump video game previews and whatnot aren't treated as automatically off-limits the same way manga scanlations are (even if their sometimes poor translations can give us a headache), I assume because they're news rather than actual content. The big underlying idea is that we don't want to support people who are trying to avoid paying for something with an official release by getting an illegal version online.

And even apart from that, it seems the so-called "raw" being passed around is actually a Korean scanlation, which would infringe on the rules regardless.

(You'd really think that people who call themselves fans of manga would at least be able to tell written Japanese from other languages [to say nothing of actually paying for the things they like], but apparently not.)

Incidentally...

I finally got a hold of this month's V-Jump (still a day early). As you and I both suspected, Tagoma remains dead and gone, and there is no mention of "North City". Both seem to have been mistakes on the part of whoever originally summarized the chapter.

Thanks. In addition to that, I also have an interview with Momoiro Clover Z to translate, as well as a sequel to the "Double Dragon Talk" from two years ago (complete with new gag comics from both artists)....

I'd love to know the answer to that, myself! As far as I've seen on Twitter, nobody else in the greater Osaka DB circle has gotten a ticket yet, but that doesn't mean they haven't started making their way into the wild....

You are required to agree (twice!) to the forum rules as part of the sign-up process. That's your responsibility.

A good number of rules are open to interpretation, but that one is pretty cut-and-dried.

It's unbelievable some people don't read all the terms before agreeing.
"Dragon Ball once became a thing of the past to me, but after that, I got angry about the live action movie, re-wrote an entire movie script, and now I'm complaining about the quality of the new TV anime. It seems Dragon Ball has grown on me so much that I can't leave it alone." - Akira Toriyama on Dragon Ball Super

Well I joined awhile ago and haven't done anything in terms of posting or even looking at the forum at all. All I did was sign up back in 2013 and that was the one time I did any posting and haven't been back since 2013. My mistake

Is there, though? I mean, I get not supporting links to scanslations of the series proper (especially when the site's "scanslations" are just scans of the VIZ version :problem: ), but I never understood the problem with scanslations of things that don't and/or won't get an official English release. Like the chapters of RoF for example.

I mean, I get rules are rules and all. I'm just sharing my opinion, not about to go all "fak da po-leece!" or anything.

I agree with you, V-jump won't get an official English release so there should be no reason to ban scans of RoF
Canon is Jaco, Dragon Ball except for EoZ, Dragon Ball Super anime and manga (both are separate canons)

Assuming chapter 2 is a fairly accurate representation of the events of the film, there are a LOT of great Toriyama moments in this portion. My absolute favorites are Beerus sleepwalking up the tree and Roshi riding Kuririn like a Yoshi. xD

Also, I'm sure a lot of these these won't be in the film since we've seen some of the same scenes in the trailers, but Toyble included a lot of nice little cameos for the Freeza Soldiers. He's got an one of the aliens from Cashman, a Kanassan, an Anime!Yardratian, Arqua, Redict (GT), Pui Pui, Yakon, Tobi, Cavira, and Appule with horns, etc. They're fun.
Direct translations of the Korean DB Online timeline and guidebook.
My personal "canon" and BP list. (Coming Soon)

I also agree. If it's not getting an official western release, and is essentially promotional material, I don't see the problem. I remember that Daizenshuu EX used to have their own Neko Majin Z translations, and I remember Kanzentai releasing at least one of the Toriyama one-shots (although I suppose things might have changed since then).

Alright, I'm now totally, really, absolutely caught up on the Bulma blog. Here's a post covering both the 33 and 34 Days Left updates.

First the long-awaited second half of the Momoiro Clover Z thing:
Hello, Bulma here! Just 33 days until the premiere!
Today we’ve got the second round of comments from “Momoiro Clover Z”.
This time they discuss voice acting.

Ariyasu) Even though I’m not too experienced with voice acting compared to A-rin [Sasaki], I still got to play a cute angel! But I’m not really the type to watch much fantasy, so…it was super tough (laughs).

Sasaki) They went to the trouble of creating these 5 characters, so we all strove to create the sort of fun atmosphere that Momoiro Clover Z is known for. As the group’s veteran when it comes to voice-acting, I pulled it off in grand style (laughs).

Momota) Laughing and stuff like that was way harder than I expected; normally I can hardly stop laughing, but when you tell me to laugh like an angel, it’s a bit tricky (laughs). I pictured myself in the middle of a field of flowers. The first recording I did was just me and Takagi, but we nailed it on the first take!

Momota and Takagi) Yeah!!

Momota) It was great.

Tamai) I had no voice acting experience, so I felt it was really hard doing it all just with my imagination and advice from the director or staff. I’d always end up moving my body, even though my voice is the only thing that actually goes with the images. I thought it was incredibly difficult to convey things solely through my voice.

Takagi) This time around we voiced angels, characters totally outside the norm. And my angel was supposed to be the most hyper one of all, even though normally I’m never hyper.

Sasaki and Takagi) ……Really?

Momota) You only said that to get a response out of us, didn’t you? Say it again, I dare you!

Takagi) An angel’s something totally outside the norm, and the angel I played was particularly hyper, even though normally I’m not even a tiny bit hyper.

Everyone) You big fibber! (laughs)

Takagi) Thanks so much.

Everyone laughs
