Weird or OK? Gohan & Bulma had a kid in the future timeline
How would you feel about that? Basically, the TFS scenario except Gohan actually banged Bulma.... but with pure intentions! To have another powerful kid. lol
The kid would probably still be a baby when Future Gohan dies though.
In-universe how do you think Future Trunks would feel about that? How would it affect the Future and Present timeline?
Also... would it be weird or just okay? XD

Trunks could never look at Gohan with a straight face again, and the pure shock from it would give both Chi-Chi and Gyumao heart attacks.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Since Trunks never knew his father in that timeline and sort of looked up to Gohan as a father figure it might have worked out. Gohan likely would have died all the same though so if he did have a kid with Bulma she'd still be a single parent again.
Re: Weird or OK? Gohan & Bulma had a kid in the future timel
Goten in both timelines? Sure, why not.
I think considering how much the apocalypse is shit, a new baby would brighten up his life, and Trunks does seem like a kid who would want his mom happy, so he'd support the union between his mom and his master.

I don't see anything wrong with it all, except perhaps Bulma being too old to have a kid.

That wouldn't be a Goten. It's Bulma. lolFoolsGil wrote:Goten in both timelines? Sure, why not.

It's too weird. It's watching a kid and being close to them when they were 12, saw them grow up, they had a kid, then porking that kid's son when he grows up. That's just really weird to me.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

What would the age difference be, 20 years or so? It's not that strange, seen the odd relationship with that sort of difference. Not usually that way round. Maybe the fact Bulma has been so close to Goku for a large portion of his youth may make it strange?
Re: Weird or OK? Gohan & Bulma had a kid in the future timel
That's what makes it strange to me. She's known Goku since he was a boy, and then porks his son. To me that's just too weird. Just like if Bulma porked Goku. He knew him since he was a kid....it's weird.Diotor wrote:What would the age difference be, 20 years or so? It's not that strange, seen the odd relationship with that sort of difference. First off, she's only older than him by four years. They (Goku and Bulma) were both kids.dbzfan7 wrote:That's what makes it strange to me. She's known Goku since he was a boy, and then porks his son. Second, apocalypse makes for strange bedfellows. When everyone you know and love before is gone or dead, and someone you recognize from your past waltzes into your life...And it's not like your libido is going to wane during all this madness.

One was a teen, one's a kid. This is a subjective thing as some people find puppy love or going steady between 8 year olds to be fine. I personally don't and think that's weird too. I get the situation, but it's still weird to me.

Well Bulma did have a thing for Goku in the 23rd WMAT. Well not that deep but she was like oh wow Goku grew up to be a good looking or something and that she missed the boat on that one or something like that. It was in the anime... not sure if it was in the manga. XD

And to think Bulma had to bathe that guy not so long ago.

Re: Weird or OK? Gohan & Bulma had a kid in the future timel
Definitely the most shudder worthy thing I've read all day.
Re: Weird or OK? Gohan & Bulma had a kid in the future timel
I just want to mention...
Bulma and Vegeta had no problem on conceiving trunks even though the situations were different. In the Future timeline Trunks was conceived during a “peace” time… and in the Z timeline it was during a hardcore training binge. So… it seems to me that as long the two parents are still alive, there’s seems to be some kind of predestination going on in that regard.
Future Gohan died on AGE 780, that means there’s actually a chance that PAN could have been conceived if Videl had also survived until then. Why future Trunks wouldn’t know about this? Well, Gohan didn’t have time for a "formal relationship"
, I don’t think he would have mentioned it to the young Trunks.

Check out Journey's End, a short story of Goku and Vegeta's final days. "Time is running out for the last two Saiyans"

Re: Weird or OK? Gohan & Bulma had a kid in the future timel
I think it is weird considering future Gohan was 23 and future Bulma was 47 in the year of his death and as dbzfan7 has pointed out Bulma has known Goku and his son Gohan since their youth and despite Gohan having become an adult she should probably see him as more of a nephew than a potential lover.
But, even if that did happen there's still a bigger age gap between Trunks and Mai and if Roshi had his way and got with Launch, Bulma or anyone else he has tried his perversions on that would dwarf these two pairings emphatically.

It would have been really weird. I mean not even taking into consideration the age gap, why is God's name would Bulma think it would be a good idea to raise a baby during an apocalypse when she's already really busy building a time machine to save the fucking world. She's gotta get her priorities straight.

More half-Saiyan babies with a likelihood to turn SSJ = more warriors to fight the Androids.

In that case, Gohan should just go on a banging spree.Angelus wrote:More half-Saiyan babies with a likelihood to turn SSJ = more warriors to fight the Androids.

Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.
