How strong is Future Trunks during the Boo Saga?

Since we never got any info on Trunks' living condition in the Alternate Timeline after the Cell Saga, how strong do you think he's gotten since? I definitely see him at least training unlike the other half-breeds. He definitely wouldn't be as obsessive about it as Goku or Vegeta (especially since he would have to focus on rebuilding the future) but with him living a life constantly under fear, I think he would have the sense to stay vigilant and try to keep himself strong.

I could even imagine him gaining SSJ2 like he did in the Budokai games.

Well technically, the time period Trunks hailed from was already about 10 years beyond when the Majin Boo arc took place...

Anyway, Trunks is a responsible guy, and he knows he's the only one left strong enough to protect the Earth from future threats, so he's definitely not going to slack off. I'm sure he'd continue to train, and with the insight he gained from his time adventures, I'd bet he'd work towards and eventually attain Super Saiyan 2. Maybe even Super Saiyan 3 someday, too.

It would have helped if present Bulma tossed him a capsulized gravity-room space ship that can go up to 400x Earth's gravity. I'm sure she can build another one if needed. It's on the front lawn. Did he even get his sword fixed up in the manga before he went back to the future? I'm sure that's an easy fix for Piccolo.

If his timeline's ROSAT door is still okay then he can go in there for 2 more years. He might reach Perfect Cell's level with that route.

I like the route Multiverse took. Trunks is so busy with rebuilding civilization that he doesn't get much time to train so he never reached SSJ2, but he still knows that he can't slack off, so he actually developed his own technique of mastering the Ultra Super Saiyan form by rapidly transforming back and forth in order to maintain speed.

At least super saiyan 2, possibly even super saiyan 3 if he had to take on Majin Buu himself at some point. I'd be cool of his mom hooked him up with the ability to become a great ape like with Vegeta in GT but the Earth would probably be destroyed in the process.

He would likely not have any real reason to keep gaining power, so I assume he'd settle for staying in current shape. Maybe he could reach Super Saiyan 2, but there's no evidence of conditions taking place that would call for it.

weaker than Dabura. In Shin Budokai 2, it takes Future Trunks, Future Gohan and Future Pikkon (both have a 1-day pass) to kill Future Dabura in an alternate ending.

Considering the Boo saga F. Trunks was still a child training with Gohan I think that answers your question...

However as for his life after he killed Cell in his future timeline, we know that he was recruited by the Kaio Shin of Time as a Time Patroller! But there's no real indication of his power growth in DBO or DBX, so one can only speculate. Trunks doesn't seem the type to train relentlessly every day like his father and Goku, so without any real threats he would have probably plateaued at whatever power level he was at when he killed Cell.

Well,depends here.I'm 100% sure that he would not slack and get weaker,so he would train to keep in shape,but would he push his body to the limits to achieve new power?

I would like ot believe that he would,he might go to the ROST in his time line,since i see no reason why it would be destroyed and perhaps even ask bulma to make him a gravity room to train.So i say he could achieve ssj2.But 3,well in the manga the only ones to achieve that level of power trained in the after life and were a fusion.

Now if trunks plays it smart he doesnt need ssj3,since if he trains his base,his ssj levels will also increase.SO it all depends if he is the type to push his body to the limits.Yes when the cyborgs were alive he had a reason,but after the cyborgs and cell will he still continue?

Trunks got killed by cell in an alternate time line after he discovered a way to stop the androids,so why didnt he kept on training in that time line?Obviously i doubt he killed them with his own strength considering the cell that killed that trunks was vastly weaker than fused piccolo.
