No, the way you wrote it literally said that everyone in the series is a goofy cat. If you would take time to actually make sure you have quality posts, then you might have caught that. You bothered to bring up that Goten thread. unprofessional
As I said. He didn't entertain me. Therefore I don't like him. Quite simple. Just a naturally dislike.
Yes, you said that. As a response to a request for an explanation as to why you thought he was a bad character. "Natural dislike" isn't an answer, because it doesn't mean anything. If you don't feel like supporting or explaining your position, either say so, or just don't reply. But don't expect people to value your opinions if you are unable or unwilling to articulate them. That's the point of a discussion forum. To discuss, not simply list off opinions.

Good for MightyOzaru. I disagree entirely with his viewpoint, but he's entitled to it. However, he's not on Kanzenshuu anymore, so he's not really relevant to this conversation.TheGmGoken wrote: In which MightyOozaru said it was a good explanation and he just don't like Goten but understand why I do? One post, thread, whatever. It makes no difference.
Natural dislike is indeed a thing. It's not an explanation.
This thread is for calling attention to what we view as "the lamest things to come out of modern DBZ." There is no discussion if we just list things with no explanation. Now, I could have called out a number of people in this thread for doing that, but none of them have had two years on this forum and nearly 10 thousand posts with which to improve their posting. If you're just going to say "Beerus sucks because we don't mix," and not even go into what that means, then what is being contributed?

Don't really get your last paragraph. I pretty just said I enjoyed Broly movies more so than BoG. I made a cheap joke about Beerus. Don't really remember why or how I get into this situation. I explained pretty well why I enjoyed Bio Broly. I simply just don't like Beerus. I watched the movie 3 times. He just does nothing for me.

Re: What is the lamest thing to come out of modern DBZ?
Blue SSJs and the over saturation of transformations are making me irk.
Seriously, this is bad. They just keep coming and coming. It was already getting redundant with SSJ3 (which compensates for looking awesome and having a limitation) and SSJ4 (also compensates for its design, relevancy, uniqueness, and prerequisites); now it's just ridiculous. I understand that the new blue hair in their SSJ forms is meant to distinguish it from their original SSJ states to represent their infused god ki, but there were so many subtle ways to do this without going over-the-top and making the transformation uglier and weaker looking. I don't need to see it to bet on either because blue is, frankly, a weak color. Red is fierce. Gold is mighty. Blue? The optimal design would have been blond/gold hair with red or orange highlights, flaming ki, and red or yellow pupil-less eyes over the traditional green pupil-less ones. Best of both SSJG and SSJ worlds.
SSJ transformations went from being the most incredibly cool thing in the anime to unbelievably lame in modern DBZ, and that actually upsets me a lot because I know it's what drew plenty of the newer people into the series or hooked others enough to stay. It was just... cool.

Gohan is going to get his SSJG boost with green hair in the next upcoming movie, "Revival of B". He'll be playing the Green Ranger role from the original Super Sentai television series, and will replace both inferior coloured Saiyan Rangers. It'd make as much sense, and Gohan deserves it more.fadeddreams5 wrote:Blue SSJs and the over saturation of transformations are making me irk.

Re: What is the lamest thing to come out of modern DBZ?
I don't like DB Minus at all, for reasons that Herms has outlined pretty well and I generally agree with. I think the only thing I like about that is Gine's design.
Episode of Bardock made no freaking sense, but luckily it's not even remotely canon so we don't have to worry about Bardock being THE REAL FIRST SUPER SAIYAN OMG YOU GUYZ. It did look pretty, though.
And the Abo/Kado/Tarble special...eh, mildly entertaining. I enjoyed Goku and Vegeta's interaction a lot. But a lot of the rest was kinda boring.
I am one of those who liked BoG though; I liked the new characters, I had a lot of fun all throughout the movie with both the comedy and the action, and yeah, I like SSJG too.
What else is new? Um, some of the newer games were pretty bad, I guess, UT, BoZ, Kinect...on the other hand, Xenoverse, despite its flaws, is pretty awesome overall.

Well, Blue Super Saiyan God is pretty much apex of Saiyan transformations, so I don't think we should expect any Saiyan transformations ever again. But, you never know...

What made the Green Ranger look so cool was that freakin' gold shield. See, gold accentuates power, royalty, and swag! Naturally, he was the strongest that season.
Let's not forget this guy:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hO2ywbjUtcU
One of the strongest rangers. What stands out about him? Gold!
Meanwhile, the blue ranger is usually the dork in the group.
When Sonic, a blue hedgehog, gathers all the chaos emeralds, he turns into Super Sonic, a yellow/golden form and clear homage to DBZ because it looks powerful and cool.
Superman Prime One Million, Superman's--a man with mostly blue in his attire's--ultimate form in the future, is... gold!
When Domon's hands are burning red, his gundam, which has blue in it, turns ****ing gold before delivering the ultimate blow!

Lack of respect for Toriyama Akira. I understand not liking some new things (such as myself with BoG, SSG, SOME interviews,Beerus, Minus, and lack of Goten/Trunks/Gotenks in RF) but to tell the guy to "Fuck off" is kinda harsh. Or even "Stay off of DBZ". It's like telling me to stay off my YouTube channel, after I made some shitty AMVS.

Some time ago, I'd the part fanbase that keeps complaining but I became aware that I joined that part of the fanbase a few days ago with the reveal of the new movie spoilers, so it'd be awfully hypocritical of me, I do hope I seem at least a tiny bit tame though. So, after Episode of Bardock and Dragon Ball Minus, that I mentioned earlier in this thread, I have to say that Ressurection F seems, and I repeat, it seems just really average, and almost as 'bad' as those two.

The lamest modern thing in Dragon Ball for me would have to be the music for Kai and BoG. The lack of Shunsuke Kikuchi and Hironobu Kageyama is so very disheartening. Also, I really don't enjoy any of the games that have come out since Super DBZ.

Re: What is the lamest thing to come out of modern DBZ?
Honestly, this applies to the new movies as well as DBZ as a whole.
Certain characters from DB being shrugged off... You know who...
Yamcha and Chaotzu. While Chaotzu isn't high in my favorites (However, I do feel bad for him), Yamcha is my favorite character in the series. Literally, Tien still fights at least, as well as Krillin. However, other than that, humans have been outclassed.
I wish Toriyama would stop neglecting some of his characters. I understand he introduces new ones, but he should really focus on the old ones and build them up more before bringing out a new alien or hybrid who starts off stronger than all the humans put together. I see countless hate towards Yamcha and Chaotzu, which could be ended if Akira Toriyama finally acknowledges them.
Worst, Yamcha and Chaotzu are excluded from Resurrection F because the battle is 'too dangerous,' yet Master Roshi is fighting (Who is supposedly weaker than Yamcha and Chaotzu). In fact, it's almost made me want to not watch the new movie.

As for Gohan, Goten, and Trunks, Gohan is at least in the movie fighting. Plus, I doubt if we know how big of a part he will play. He may actually prove useful in this movie. As for Goten and Trunks, it was stated that Gohan decided not to tell them, yet they can sense energy. I'm pretty sure Goten and Trunks will notice the energies and head to the scene later in the movie. I could be wrong, so we'd have to wait until the movie comes out.
With Yamcha and Chaotzu, I could almost guarantee that Akira Toriyama wouldn't let them appear at all. Trust me.
