Well if that's how strong he is after being revived...that's much easier to salvage than if that's how strong he is after training. I guess that could mean either by the time of Mecha Freeza, Freeza's first form power doubled somehow, or his time in hell somehow doubled his power...maybe.Herms wrote:One of the early Japanese spoiler summaries said Freeza's line about increasing his battle power to 1.37 million was something he says in his first form, shortly after being revived. In fact, I believe this is the same summary that some people Google translated to find out about the 1.37 million thing in the first place, but apparently the Google translation didn't make the context of the line clear enough. Anyway, the summary went on to say that Golden Freeza and the new Super Saiyan God form must surely get up into the trillions or whatever, but that bit seems like just commentary on the writer's part rather than anything said in the film. At any rate, the 1.37 million line is apparently something Freeza says before starting up his 4 months of training, long before Golden Freeza is revealed.dbzfan7 wrote:When did he say that? Didn't Freeza say his power had decreased a bit? Personally, I find it unlikely that that line is even in the film and it's possibly just a rumor, but we'll have to wait and see I guess.

Re: Official DBZ 2015 Movie Power Discussion: "Resurrection
He says it before training, but apparently he states that by training for 4 months he'll acquire a battle power of 1.37 million (this is the spoiler page in question). So 1.37 million is apparently what he thinks he'll get after 4 months of training, though he might just mean in his first form, since that's the form he's in when he says it. Apparently he sticks to that form until fighting Goku, so maybe he trains in that form too for whatever reason. At any rate, the writer goes on to say that since Golden Freeza is stronger than Super Saiyan God (which I believe is a questionable claim, but whatever), Golden Freeza's battle power must reach into the trillions or quadrillions, to the point where numbers don't mean anything. Again, this whole trillions/quadrillions/immeasurable thing seems to just be the writer's thoughts rather than anything said in the movie, but it at least shows that they didn't get the impression the 1.37 million figure was supposed to apply to Golden Freeza. Though maybe they're just in denial.dbzfan7 wrote:Well if that's how strong he is after being revived...that's much easier to salvage than if that's how strong he is after training. Well is this leak exactly the case for the movie or not? Cause even in first form it'd make no sense if that's where he ended up. First Form Freeza was enough to casually almost kill SSJ Gohan (or base, but I've heard it's SSJ). If so then that means Super Saiyan Gohan is weaker than Second Form Freeza on Namek. That'd mean his base is about double of that when he fought Guldo. Seriously I really hope that number never actually was mentioned. If it was then maybe Freeza underestimated his opponents, and actually got waaaay stronger. That 1.3 mill number does not work.Herms wrote:He says it before training, but apparently he states that by training for 4 months he'll acquire a battle power of 1.37 million (this is the spoiler page in question). Or maybe Golden Freeza just works like SSJG and his base forms got super strong just like Goku's and Vegeta's as a result of him achieving the transformation.dbzfan7 wrote:Well is this leak exactly the case for the movie or not? Doesn't matter because if 1.37 mil is the actual final result for first form, then consistency is thrown out the window.Doctor. wrote:Or maybe Golden Freeza just works like SSJG and his base forms got super strong just like Goku's and Vegeta's as a result of him achieving the transformation.

No, what I'm saying is that maybe Freeza thought he'd get that strong, but after achieving his Golden transformation, he absorbed its power and got much stronger than expected.dbzfan7 wrote:Doesn't matter because if 1.37 mil is the actual final result for first form, then consistency is thrown out the window.Doctor. wrote:Or maybe Golden Freeza just works like SSJG and his base forms got super strong just like Goku's and Vegeta's as a result of him achieving the transformation.

That's a big if, though. If the film doesn't say "after training, Freeza is indeed 1.37 Million" then there's no inconsistency to be had.dbzfan7 wrote:Doesn't matter because if 1.37 mil is the actual final result for first form, then consistency is thrown out the window.Doctor. wrote:Or maybe Golden Freeza just works like SSJG and his base forms got super strong just like Goku's and Vegeta's as a result of him achieving the transformation.

Considering Golden Form is just a swapping of colors of the final form, I think if Cooler ever gets a Golden Form it will be with his fifth/final form.Duo wrote:The real question is, can he go Golden and 5th Form at the same time?

According to herms he said the leaked statement said "After" he trained he'd reach that level. So if that leak is right, then consistency goes out the window.Zephyr wrote:That's a big if, though. I already listed that as a possibility above. Besides what's the point of throwing the number around if he's not gonna say "I greatly surpassed my expectations". We shouldn't have to come up with excuses for a story or consistency. That's a sign of the story failing on it's own to be consistent.Zephyr wrote:He made a predictive statement. Every time a scouter explodes in the manga, it is in response to a rapid power up, not from sensing a number too big for it. Freeza were to power up, and then scan himself, there's nothing to indicate that it wouldn't show how strong he is.Mystic Tien wrote:That's true, but don't they have restrictions? This Shisami isn't actually on-par with Dodoria or Zarbon in power, right? Right?!
