About the Blue SSJG... Well, I'm like others in this thread had a suddenly hatred about this transformation, now I'm starting to think that is not so bad, you guys feel that too?

Sure they do. Beerus being able to achieve his power level with training while Goku not being to able to do is one.

One of them had 75 million years to train. The other didn't.

Why would he bring him up? That version of Buu wasn't a threat.

Vegeta only became afraid of him when he heard that he had defeated SSJ3 Goku in 2 hits. As gods' ki can't be sensed, before that Vegeta might have thought that he and the other Z-senshi were strong enough to fight him.

Okay, this is a somewhat valid objection. But there was never any proof he couldn't get one before this.

Because a villain has never been arrogant or overstated their capabilities before, right? Besides, I got the impression he was talking about ki sensing, as he said that right after Vegeta suddenly noticed him at the party and was surprised he was there.

Shenron knowing about Beerus, while no one else does, including Kami, and later telling what SSJ God is, while even Whis doesn't know it

Well Shenron is a reality warper who can grant wishes, bring back the dead, and restore destroyed planets. It makes sense that he can also acquire knowledge other characters can't.

You don't know he never met Freeza in his final form.

Goku not wanting to use something that he doesn't earn in BoG, yet using Whis' time rewind ability in FnF, if you wish.

The difference was that he didn't do it just so he could win the fight, he did it to save the Earth and all the people on it.

First post so sorry if I'm taking this off topic but I was wondering , do you guys think Vegeta and Goku are equals in the movie ? I sieved through the pages and didn't really see a definitive answer
I read the spoilers and know about the transformations and Vegeta being 'nervous' in the presence of Golden Freeza but I kinda expected that after watching the trailer ,
What'd you think though ? Equals ? Goku still got the edge ?
Could Goku have stopped Frieza's earth exploding blast ?

That or maybe Goku is waiting for the other plate since Beerus is taking the one closer, and Beerus is trying to eat at the same speed that Goku is (since his plate tower is smaller than Goku's one)

I think if they're not equals then Vegeta is a bit weaker but not that much.
I think the part where Vegeta is nervous about Freeza's Golden form is meant to be a joke... because then the summary says he goes to Goku's rescue and deflects all of Freeza's blasts thrown at them...

The blue hair just doesn't work for me. It seems so out of place from their usual colour scheme. Tacky even. Red would have been a smoother transition like what the fanart had, because as said, blue makes them look like they have a completely different power altogether and unSuper Saiyan related.

They're training with the same master and have the same forms so they're probably equal.

The subtle change of SSJ2 added to the cool factor of SSJ without taking anything away, so it worked. It was merely an extension--an awesome one. The only exception being Kid Gohan, but this was before SSJ2 was even a thing.

BSSJG is terrible because it's not subtle at all. You're taking an iconic transformation, keeping it physically the same, but altering the best part about it into something completely ugly that stands out. It looks weaker than SSJ... and Toriyama knows that! grrrr...

SSJ2 had a few changes.

Eyes looked angrier, hair became spikier. Arcs of lightning, and the aura changed. So it was more than just that.

To be honest, the movie sounds rather... disappointing. There was so much build up about despair and the worst wish in history, etc... but Freeza's arrival is reminiscent of Avo and Cado's. And there's a lot of plot problems... I wish, if they were going to bring back Freeza, there'd been a little more effort into making the plot solid and consistent with the rest of the series.

My biggest issue with the movie is Goku and Vegeta's behavior at the end. The Earth is destroyed due to their immaturity, and yet neither of them really learns anything from it. They just go back to the same childish and petty behavior, like all those deaths were no big deal. When I heard (pre-summary) that Freeza destroys Earth, I thought Goku would be deeply affected by the consequences of his actions. But neither he nor Vegeta appear to care much about the fiery deaths they condemned a planetful of people to. I thought they'd regret what they'd done and realize, at the end, the need to take threats more seriously and work in tandem. But even though their own children died, they're still unwilling to fight together.

Their efforts to protect Earth in the last movie, their willingness to set aside pride for what's really important, seems to have been forgotten. Vegeta, especially, is out of character. He was willing to make a fool of himself to protect Earth in BoG, but now...? It's like his development and maturity took ten steps backwards.

I can accept a generic story. I'd hoped for much more, but it's amazing just having new material. OOC stuff, though, ruins it.

EDIT: It also doesn't even make sense for them both to act so immature and not take Freeza seriously. They know how utterly evil, sadistic, and dangerous Freeza is. Vegeta, especially, since he served Freeza until he was almost 30 (witnessing much of Freeza's sadism in person) and was tortured and killed by him. Goku watched him kill Vegeta and Kuririn, nearly kill Piccolo, etc... They both should've been intent on incinerating him as quickly as possible.

Plus, Freeza blew up Namek when he was losing against Goku during the Freeza saga. So it's not like him blowing up Earth is unexpected.

Of course Goku wouldn't catch up to Beerus's 75 million years of training... Goku kinda can't live for 75 million years.

Em... He was granted a body when he died, trained in the Other World and he was just fine. So him saying that he would never catch up to Beerus doesn't make a single bit of sense.

If I were u I wouldnt believe EVERYTHING Goku says, like AT Goku hates acting big and tough which is similar to him (lol) when he and Vegeta were fighting at ssj2 and majin form he said they are even but we all know he has a ssj3 and just doesnt want to use it for Vegeta's sake, he said he couldnt beat fat buu but later admitted he could have destroyed him, Goku contradicts himself a lot.
