Well, they re-used a Movie 14's soundtrack.

And seeing again the trailer made me remember when I said the planet Earth would be destroyed, and some people said it was just for the sake of drama... I was kind of correct all the time.

Anyway, 2 years makes it seem like they're trying to keep the "in-universe" time passing between movies roughly in-synch with real world passage of time.

Given the synopsis, I wouldn't say Kakarot met Bulma. Am I wrong?

Hmm. Assuming Battle of Gods is in August of AGE 778 for Bluma's actual birthday, that would place Resurrection F in August of AGE 780 if we are being literal. There would be some minor continuity issues with that (though that's expected these days), but I don't think we have enough solid information anyway to truly take a stab at it (Julian might).

--Battle of Gods takes place in AGE 778 (month unspecified).
--After some time, Freeza is revived and says he'll train for four months.
--Julian mentioned something about Piccolo saying "around half a year has passed", is this the four months or is it more?
--Beerus now mentions sleeping for 2 years (but again the specific months are unspecified, and he could be rounding anyway).

Wonder how long I'll have to wait for an actual confirmed placement of late 779 or 780. :/

Anyone knows how Whis' time rewind works exactly? From the summary it seems like Goku and Bulma remember the Earth exploding and Whis rewinding time, yet Vegeta doesn't.

From the synopsis, I feel like it's part of his barrier technique. I feel like it kind of displaces time (possibly keeping the air within from when it was formed as well?) and then rewinds everything outside of it using his staff as the trigger or whatever. Only Julian and Kei can say for sure though...
