Depends on which Ultron.

"Ultron Unlimited" Ultron took on Thor, and would have won had it not been for Justice showing up with Vibranium (Marvel's Deus ex Machina anti-metal).
"Ultron Initiative" Ultron was capable of bitch-smacking Ares and holding off the Sentry before he went nuts, and the Sentry is Marvel's Superman.
"Annihilation Conquest" Ultron was a galactic level threat that only got taken down by the combined power of multiple cosmic heavy-hitters.

Regardless, Ultron is always seen as one of the MAJOR threats in the Marvel Universe. He's virtually indestructible (I've yet to see anything that proves to me that DBZ characters can break adamantium), and, even beyond that, he's virtually immortal as he can exist as long as there is something electronic to transmit himself into, and he can exists for unspecified amounts of time as free-roaming data.

Ultron's in the same strength range as some of Thor's feats (ignore the handbook for Ultron; it blatantly contradicts some of his established feats, and the stats don't seem to have been updated since the 70's.) He's also a hundred times smarter than any DB character, and is capable of instantly shutting a foe into a coma with his Encephalo-beam.

It would take a higher-level class of DB fighter (read-Vegetto) to even think about beating Ultron, and, even then, it wouldn't be permanent, and I'm not sure it could even be done. An earlier model of Ultron was put out of commission temporarily by beating him so hard that his inner components were knocked loose, but the later models have never had a problem with that.

To my knowledge, a pure adamantium Ultron has never been physically beaten, and he's fought characters that put DB fighters to shame. Buu could manage something with his magic, probably, but aside from that, I can't see anyone else taking him down. No one has shown themselves capable of the feats needed for such a task.

Depends on the week, as with every Marvel/DC character. Sometimes, character Z will be able to destroy an entire solar instantly just by flying by it at x1000 light speed. Other times, character Y will defeat character Z or at least fight evenly with them, despite character Y being threatened by a nuke or a planet explosion or something in a previous story. Sometimes character Y will also be slow enough for regular-ass humans to consistently react to them. Then, in the story after that, character Y will get defeated by character X, who is a street level character that has been punked by guys whose "powers" range from "I'm in good shape" to "I have a gun loaded with bullets".

This is part of why I prefer the movie and TV universes.

He's probably referring to the Bardock special. Zarbon was the one who first recommended destroying Planet Vegeta because the saiyans were rapidly growing in strength.
It was actually Beerus disguised as Zarbon #StayWoke
Herms wrote:The fact that the ridiculous power inflation is presented so earnestly makes me just roll my eyes and snicker. Like with Freeza, where he starts off over 10 times stronger than all his henchmen except Ginyu (because...well, just because), then we find out he can transform and get even more powerful, and then he reveals he can transform two more times, before finally coming out with the fact that he hasn't even been using anywhere near 50% of his power. Oh, and he can survive in the vacuum of space. All this stuff is just presented as the way Freeza is, without even an attempt at rationalizing it, yet the tone dictates we're supposed to take all this silly grasping at straws as thrilling danger. So I guess I don't really take the power inflation in the Boo arc seriously, but I don't take the power inflation in earlier arcs seriously either, so there's no net loss of seriousness. I think a silly story presented as serious is harder to accept than a silly story presented as silly.

Don Krieg vs. All of Dragon Ball

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Vegeta one-shots them.
Post-ROSAT Base Gotenks VS Androids Saga Pre-ROSAT Kamiccolo + Kamiccolo Potara Fusion! Yes, that's two Kamiccolos fusing.
The base kids before the RoSaT were in the general league of Android #18, so I'd assume after the RoSaT they're probably around Kamiccolo.

That being said, potara are massively superior to the fusion dance, and Kamiccolo (?) would also have a big skill advantage.

Vegeta: 500

Android #18: 700

She still wins.

Chi-Chi wrecks Videl without even having to fuse with Bulma.

Bulchi (Bulma + Chi-Chi fusion dance) vs. Videl (no flight)
- Ranma hits a brick wall at 22nd Budokai Tenkaichi Roshi
- Don Krieg gets his ass handed to him by 21st Budokai Tenkaichi Goku
- Bulchi wrecks Videl

It only provides more a boost in terms of raw strength, while still within the branch of a SSJ1 and not exceeding to the next level of SSJ2
SSJ2 doubles strength, and you're saying ASSJ made Vegeta THREE times stronger?
It's implied, yeah.

It wasn't said Super Saiyan Dai San Dankai Trunks was stronger than Perfect Cell, but couldn't win because of the drawback the form possesses? Might be wrong, but I recall something similar to this.

Not stronger than Perfect Cell's full power, just the warming up suppression level he used against Super Vegeta and Trunks.

Perfect Cell [full power] >>> MSS Kid Gohan >> MSS Goku > Grade 3 Trunks > Perfect Cell [warming up suppression] >> Grade 2 Vegeta / Trunks

I think he's talking about the dub line where Goku says Vegeta would have to triple his strenght to take on Cell, when Vegeta emerges from the RoSaT.

Even if we assume the dub line is accurate, I think it is just Goku guessing Cell is like 3 times stronger than Vegeta was before training in the room.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. That dub line is the only thing we really have to go by in gaining an indication of how much of a multiplier ASSJ is.

I doubt it's actually 3x;

initial Semi-Perfect Cell >>>> Android #16 = Imperfect Cell [post] >>> Kamiccolo's Gekiretsu Kodan >>> Kamiccolo > weighted Kamiccolo > Gingertown Cell >/>> SS Vegeta (pre-RST)

3x is kind of excessive, though, I doubt Goku would prefer FPSS over Grade 2's strain if it was really a 3x increase.

That line just sounds more like Vegeta's training made him more than 3x stronger than he was before. Nothing about the transformation being 3x. That's just pure overkill and makes SSJ2 useless.

Bio Broly vs SSJ Broly (2nd movie)
"Dragon Ball once became a thing of the past to me, but after that, I got angry about the live action movie, re-wrote an entire movie script, and now I'm complaining about the quality of the new TV anime. It seems Dragon Ball has grown on me so much that I can't leave it alone." - Akira Toriyama on Dragon Ball Super

Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!
