I'm looking at the animation in those shots of Vegeta and I can see why people said that part was easily the best of the movie. The animation is off the charts in those shots! I mean just look at the detail in the shot where Vegeta's about to finish Freeza with a ki blast. Just amazing!

I didn't think I'd be hyped to see this movie, but I kind of am now.

I thought Norihito Sumitomo did an excellent job in regards to the BOG score. He just next to no budget in regards to his score of the Dragon Ball Kai Majin Boo arc.

He definitely did a great job with BOG. Buu arc is okay (the disco soundtrack is worse than shit though).
But overall, nothing over the top compared to what we got back in the day.
I said that too, because I didn't like the soundtrack used in Shenlong scene, already.

Wow finally some shots of how SSGSS Vegeta looks in the actual movie , tbh I still think the blue suits Goku a bit more , although to begin with I thought it would be the other way round.

Since when Ghibli animated Dragon Ball?! We're talking about Toei past works here, and how this is better than what we got in 2013 in BOG and last years in any OVA.

Toei's animation has never been at the level of Ghibli's and never will be. We're saying the animation looks good compared to other Toei/Dragon Ball animated material, of course.

Stunning animation for me would be full 24 FPS. We can dream...

You'd think in this day of computer generated imagery that things would have gone down in price. To an extant though they have gone up. Notice the shift in SPFX production. Much is being done in India these days to save money. Where will it all end. The only good thing will be local productions from those countries will benefit from the new talent brought into the industry and that's always a good thing...
