That's like my only big issue with this release. Would have much preferred at least the paper they use on the standard volumes. It doesn't affect me personally since I have the standard volumes from way back when but the paper being so thin it's easily rippable/able to see through seems almost just cheap on Viz's part.Gyt Kaliba wrote:There's also the issue of how abysmally thin the paper in these three-in-ones always are, not just with Dragon Ball. When you can see the next page through the one you're currently on, the paper's just way too thin.

It's a hit or miss. I made this thread covering the pro's and Cons of each volume

It's a budget release. They cut corners and the price is cheaper, that's usually how it is. It might be the major factor in deciding to buy the release or not but since that's to be expected I don't think it's really a problem. What's actually a problem is them marketing the release as being uncut when it's not.funrush wrote: That's like my only big issue with this release. I brought up to the Freeza arc and I'm strongly considering continuing buy them if they going to cut cover pages, the only thing that is keeping me buying these books is the possibility that they might have the extended ending on the last volume. You know, the one exclusive to the kanzenban that has Goku giving Uub Kintou. do you know if they will have that?

I don't know, but if you just want that, why don't you just buy the last volume when it comes out if it actually has that ending?rzerox21xx wrote:I brought up to the Freeza arc and I'm strongly considering continuing buy them if they going to cut cover pages, the only thing that is keeping me buying these books is the possibility that they might have the extended ending on the last volume.
