It's mostly screenshots from the film and some character designs. I'll leave the profiles and interviews until the site gets around to translating them.
*Sees half of Jaco's drawing of Freeza.*
That is amazing! Up there with Gokû's drawing of Bulma; possibly higher than that.
The funny part was Bulma actually praising Jaco that he has a talent for drawing after seeing Freeza up front.

As it has been mentioned, there are several examples of Goku being caught by surprise with attacks in the manga and he never got really hurt. No one is saying that is wasn't foreshadowed in the movie itself.
The difference was this time that weakness of his was tackled and was the main point of this movie, that Goku is still weak.

Seems to me like they tried to force a weakness Goku didn't have.

Once again, no one is saying that that's not the case.

It's simply inconsistent and that's what's being pointed out, not anything else.

Likewise mate. Tho when I think about it, the reason for that was probably since the start of Buu arc Goku has been way too relaxed and sometimes overconfident of his abilites unlike early DB, so Akira Toriyama probably wanted to make Goku look like he will learn from that and takes his fights seriously next time (if there is a next time)

There has been a lot of inconsistensy from Dragon Ball, theres no point in complaining.

These shots look really awkward. Eye-level shots convey a sense of the ordinary. They also make the characters look flat, like drawings rather than real people with three dimensional forms. It really takes me out of the emotion of the scene.

I wouldn't compare a bullet or an axe to Sorbet's ring. His ring is far more powerful than any conventional weapon should be; Goku really doesn't need to keep his guard up for something that powerful when he's not expecting anything.

I agree that it's somewhat inconsistent with the manga, but I don't mind that much.

Some of them are, quite literally, in the last few pages.

What kind of reasoning is that...? By that logic, since there's lot of bad stuff in the world, there's no point in criticizing anything.

I think these might be cropped from how they appear in the actual film but granted, the filmmaking is pretty average in general. It's the script I think that shines most.

I'm not going to bother repeating myself if you can't be bothered to read a couple of pages back.

Even if they're cropped the angle still isn't changed. The drawings definitely look awkward.

The script does appear to be good, though. The dialogue definitely seems to be Toriyama all the way. It's just a shame he didn't have a good director to fill in the gaps.

Why exactly is real life being compared to a fictional world?

Looks really good, and after the disappointing AoU I'm willing to let all my issues with this go just to see a fun movie.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

Saying that there's no point in complaining just because there's a lot of inconsistencies is a bad argument. The next movie could be filled with plot holes, contradictions and bad writing and then you wouldn't complain just because DB is already filled with that kind of stuff?
