I think a couple of Sumitomo's laid-back stuff is ok, like that one track in one of the early Kai ep when Gohan meets Erasa and Videl and Sharpner
Tim Duncan is dope and forever.

Huh, so this is what happens when you give Sumitomo a decent budget to work with? :P

Yeah, the OST in RF sounds very promising but there does seem to be a few occasions of repetitiveness and similarities to a few tracks he did in BOG. But overall, I think Sumitomo has done a good job so far with RF.

For the most part, it was like listening to a horror movie's soundtracks. I didn't like them too much. I do prefer Sumitomo's Kai score over his BoG and RoF ones. But I did like the first part of the 23rd soundtrack.

I liked tracks 23, 30, and the end of 19. I love how those ones sound.

I went to go see the movie again today, I thought I was only ever going to be here once so why not see it again. I still liked it, it really does have a hell of a lot more action in it.

So as of this movie, is Freeza the strongest non-god being to ever live in the universe?

So far, that title belongs to Wiss. We don't know if him is a god as well.

Well I kind of assumed he was, as nobody could sense him either. Unless he's just really good at suppressing his ki.

As far as we know, within the stories as written by Toriyama? I suppose so. Whis probably isn't a god via title, but he has the same divine ki as Beerus that can't be sensed.

Goku says that he couldn't sense Beerus' or Whis' ki to use Shunkan Ido because they are gods, meaning that Whis is a god as well.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

If Whis is able to smack a God to sleep for 100 years, it'd be right to assume he's a God as well.

By that logic Goku's been a god for years before SSJG.

Can Freeza sense Goku's and Vegeta's ki now that they have godly ki?

I haven't seen RF yet, but I would assume that he can't.

He knocked out Elder Kaiohshin without problems. But it is not like you cannot do anything to them. Vegeta also could do a bit against Beerus.

A little bit.

Did freeza even learn how to sensed ki in the first place, is there any evidence that he could.

Yea I get that and they now turned out to be...Gods. They had the potential to be one so of course they should be able to inflict some damage before turning. So it'd be right to assume Whis is a god.

Cetra wrote: And also - how is GT not compatible with the rest? Because Pilaf is young and Goku has blue hair? I hope that is really not a serious argument. As well as the 20 year old "different dimension" argument is so old it starts to smell already, He probably has even changed his mind by now. Or maybe it was not even meant like people think. People even think "side-story" means not-canonical.
How do you know if he change his mind on DBZ Movie 1-13? If he did then he would have reference Coola in the movie when Freeza ask not to bring back his father. I think Toryiama still view them as AU films seeing that they where never design to fit into the timeline and neither the anime or manga references them expect for the Garlic Jr. saga in the anime.

Also I do feel like your sig is flame bait too. You make it sound like it's wrong to have Freeza come back stronger and not #17. Super 17 makes no sense because you are fusing two #17's into one and #17 was never a major villain of the franchise. Freeza on the other hand is Goku's #1 enemy and is the most iconic villain of the franchise. If any villain came back to become stronger then it would be Freeza. #17 was never a major villain in the franchise and the idea behind Super 17 was stupid to begin with. Having #17 become back to become Super 17 is like if DC made a JLA movie where Captain Boomerang solos the DC universe and kills Superman. Or if the next Godzilla movie has Kamacuras become Godzilla's next major enemy and ends up nearly killing him. #17 was a minor villain much like Zarbon was and hardly had a major impact on the series since both #17 and #18 got over shadowed when Cell arrived.
