Where are you seeing anime things related? I'm only seeing they covering the manga.

Cool to note there is no mention about Dragon Ball Minus (from what I can see), only Bardock/planet Vegeta/Age 737.

The anime things are preceded by a small star sign in text. They're not illustrated. Garlic Jr., Paikuhan, etc. are mentioned.

Jaco is mentioned too I think.

Yup, Jaco is the third thing on the timeline.

I believe it says that the battle was in the past, maybe I'm interpreting it wrong.

I recognize most of this text from Daizenshuu 7. Which was carried over into Chouzenshuu 4, and I believe that's where the EOB and BOG entries are from. The entries about Jaco and RF are obviously new since then.

It's definitely not everything from the book(s), so it's odd that they did keep things like the driving school episode and Garlic Jr.

And using a ☆ to distinguish anime-original content was something Daizenshuu 7 did in other sections, but not during the timeline.

They certainly made a little bit of a mess out of the section surrounding Goku's birth, considering what they were trying to do. I mean, the entry itself is consistent as a summary, but not when you know the context of the stories they are combining. You got them ignoring Dragon Ball Minus by working off the Bardock TV Special having Goku born the same year the planet is destroyed (with Beerus sleeping 2 years later) and then Bardock being sent into the past. They also add on Jaco to that entry because of his appearance in Resurrection F, yet they don't mark any of this with a ☆. Kinda funny.

Not the Chilled material, but the AGE 737 entry notes Bardock was sent into the past via planet Vegeta's explosion while standing up to Freeza, just like in the Chozenshu.

Yes. That's how the movies and all the promotional material have always presented the new films, and why Goten and Trunks are still kids, Uub is nowhere in sight, and Pan and Bra are in the process of being born.

When do we think we'll start getting news on this? Plot details / artwork / teaser etc. I'm fascinated to see how this series is going to look.

When you think about it, it's not far off at all, so I hope there's something lined up to tease us soon.

Okay, I'm honestly starting to really not like this "GT is the ugly duckling" treatment that it's gotten over the years. I mean, yes, GT didn't have the best of execution for it's concept and didn't live to high standard of previous animes in the franchise and I, myself, may not be the biggest fan of the show, but to try to act like it never happened within the franchise, even though it's been constantly recognized within the franchise for several years, is pretty insulting to the fans of the show. I mean, I know, we're not supposed to look into the Dragon Ball timeline with consistency, but at least provide recognition to all the major contributions to the franchise and don't pick and chose just because in regards to certain contributions to Dragon Ball it was a case of "Toriyama didn't write it. Not canon. Fuck it."

Lol I was just wondering. I mean at the end of Z Goku leaves with Uub to train him, so the time line implies that at that time he has already hit God form. Made me wonder where the start of Super would take place. I know it says after Majin buu has been defeated but that's not specific enough.

A Jaco reference doesn't mean a Dragon Ball Minus reference. As I already stated up above, the entry starts out saying Goku was born the same year Vegeta was destroyed, which means they are going with the Bardock TV Special and not Minus. For this interpretation of the timeline, Jaco's main chapters are apparently getting shifted back two years and slapped onto the end of the TV Special, with Goku being a baby rather than a toddler.

I'd imagine we're getting a website with at least placeholders soon; Toei had Go!Pri's up almost-exactly 2 months before it premiered.

I think they just want to avoid confusing newcomers since Super will (probably) be set around the same era as GT. Don't worry, GT will still continue to show up in Xenoverse, Heroes and other video games.

I don't see how it's getting ignored. It's likely that they're including it just as they are including Jaco, and either the date just happens to be an error or Goku really was 1 year-old in Minus since he isn't even human anyway and maybe Saiyans grow up like that.

Can we get 100% confirmation that the timeline says Bardock was sent into the past though? That's by the far the strangest thing in this timeline
