Nope. He used a Kiai wave with his hand on the ground.
It was way more than enough force to destroy the planet.

You just answered your own question
That doesn't explain how Bulma remembered everything that happened...

Because Freeza doesn't.

And that's what we were saying. I was just saying the explanation you gave first didn't have anything to do with it.

To be honest the movie seems average at best. most of the gag scene seem unnecessary :|

Well you see a scene of some flashes or something going through the crust and into the core of the Earth.

You know if I didn't know better I would swear Frieza's singled out Gohan for the one hit ko purely as payback for movie 12. :D

Well, considering that RF and DBZ movie 12 can't possibly take place in the same continuity, I doubt that was the case.

Still it could be an inside joke like how Pilaf's gang are turned into children in BoG.

Yeah I wasn't really a big fan of Whis and Beerus on Earth, their banter wasn't really that funny and broke up the fight. Although Jaco's reaction to them was pretty funny.
God Jaco is such a great character, I hope he's in DBS

What character development was there? Cause it seems like they went backwards They worked together to beat Buu and Vegeta made a fool of himself to keep the Earth save. Yet this time they refused to work together to beat Freeza and Vegeta only stepped in when Freeza was completely worn out.

As far as the fight goes it sucked, too much focus on Beerus and Whis eating candy. Plus the CGI was really jarring.
They worked together to beat Buu when they were desperate. Remember when they thought they didn't need to work together they destroyed the earrings and played rock/paper/scissors to decide who would get the first crack at fighting Buu.

Just saw the scenes :D
Beerus and Whis parts are awesome
Whis facepalm  (I must compare it with Piccolo's facepalm :3 )
I just noticed Beerus' first person pronoun was "Ore" in here :eh: I wonder why... is that for the whole movie?
If so, hope he changes to "Boku" if he's in Super or in another movie...

other than that, this made my day :D

I dont know, I love the animations in the fight scenes. Especially how they didnt go the lazy route and did the "lets put flashes in the background to show how fast they are fighting" (alright they did do it once) but most of the fight you could really see the kicks and punches and it was really well emphasized.

And you cant blame DBZ on the lack of plot, its a 2hr movie not a whole saga. You cant expect a whole lot of character development. If you compare it to standard movies we see nowadays, the main/important characters number to less than 10 and only about 3-4 get proper development and are properly fleshed out.

Doctor. wrote:Freeza admitted he was outclassed and swallowed his pride in order to train; Piccolo showed he isn't always a strict father figure by showing he can gently take care of Pan; Goku finally puts his arrogance and selfish behavior to the side (he should have received this development in the Freeza arc and one can argue that he did and that this movie showcased character regression, but I digress). It's subtle, but it's there if you pay attention, just like all character development in Dragon Ball.

In regards to the fight, I agree that it was pretty underwhelming and average at best, CGI overall was better than BoG's but too much of it was used. The second time F was used was in that fight and most of it was spent on Beerus and Whis talking about food, lol, and their gags were pretty unnecessary. I loved Goku's punch to Freeza's chest, Vegeta's beat-down and Nakao's screams when Freeza gets out of the water, though.
And Frieza didn't train even he had already knew it? What a logic
Goku is garbage. He has fighted several times but doesn't get any experience. Even kid goku acts better.
Vegeta is garbage. He wanted to fight against normal Frieza, hit Goku because of this but wet his pant after seeing Golden Frieza? Compare to Buu Saga and BOG,Vegeta is absolutely garbage
Other casts except Whis and Beerus are nothing.
And the reason why they didn't choose Goten,Trunks,Buu is completely shit. They forgot Buu's regeneration
Art is good but not special,CGI is bad,as usual
And sure,Sorbet's beam scene,LOL

Which isn't remotely the same thing Freeza appeared to do

He looked like he just physically destroyed the earth via slam attack which apparently is super effective :o
