Like what? All they did was do a Kiai and fly.
They had flight aura... something of which wasn't even seen till someone reached the 1000's mark.

I believe Toriyama also said in Vol. [F], that Roshi had trained and actually got quite strong, so who knows, he might be have surpassed a battle power of 1,000 there.
Also animated DB tend to be more generous, when dealing with demonstrating characters' strength.
In the manga the last time Krillin had a power-up aura was, when he powered up against Guldo.
Tenshinhan and Yamcha never got ones in the manga, but got ones in the anime etc.

BoZ Goku couldn't even fly fast, he had to use Nimbus. Spopovitch and Yamu on the other hand flew amazingly fast and with an aura. The weakest ones who ever did this were Freeza's soldiers who were around 1,500 to 2,500.

I'm really starting to think they really are that strong and Spopovitch was just toying (greatly) around with Videl.

I don't think they are stronger than Frieza's men or Master Roshi (especially Resurrection F Roshi), but they should be stronger than Chi Chi, imo. Spopovitch definitely was toying with Videl as a way to get back at her father; he had an agenda with her.

Why are people overrating Spopovitch?

Videl (a character weaker than chapter 1 kid Goku) caused injury to him and made him draw blood, Spopovitch couldn't even one shot her. While if she fought a serious BoZ Goku she wouldn't even be able to hurt him and lose in an instant.

Putting him on Raditz level is an insult to Raditz, I think King Piccolo, heck even Tao Pai Pai could beat him with ease.

Videl could also fly with an aura really fast. It has nothing to do with strength, but training of the technique.
