Major kudos for new mobile version
Major kudos for new mobile version
This is one the cleaniest, fastest and best designed mobile versions of any websites I've seen without losing any 'main site' identity. Major kudos for that to the team!

Re: Major kudos for new mobile version
It's all Hujio's awesome work, and it will continue to be a work-in-progress! It's crazy to think that we didn't actually have a responsive design when we launched the new site in 2012, but there was just so much going on that it was kind of impossible to scope that into the project. Little steps along the way! Glad it's effective for you so far, though

Is the mobile automatic , a phone app, or there's an option?
Re: Major kudos for new mobile version
Good performance of a mobile version cannot be complimented enough. I visit tons of crap-loaded script/java-infested websites that make me feel like I'm working on Pentium 133 with 56kps dial-up, or just straight out crash the browser. Kanzenshuu is sublime (not the forums tho, they can perform very heavily for some reason on mobileVegettoEX wrote:It's all Hujio's awesome work, and it will continue to be a work-in-progress! Most mobile browsers use mobile versions of websites by default, many have option to swap to computer version (I use Chrome mobile and there's a simple option to swap to full site for any page you're viewing)TheGmGoken wrote:Is the mobile automatic , a phone app, or there's an option?

Thanks! I really appreciate the compliments. It's amazing to think of how far the site's development has progressed, yet most of it is still a work-in-progress. There are definitely some things to refine, but it's a start. From a development standpoint, it's just so hard to adapt static content into an adaptive and responsive design. You walk a very fine line between things work and going terribly wrong. I'm glad it's the former in this case.
