The only thing that was lame to me is Dragon Ball Minus, mainly because it contradicts a lot of things.

Lots of things in Dragon Ball contradict other things in Dragon Ball. It's kinda the norm.SMKirbyZX wrote:The only thing that was lame to me is Dragon Ball Minus, mainly because it contradicts a lot of things.

There's absolutely nothing redeeming about Minus, though, so there's no need to try to make it work.Lord Beerus wrote:Lots of things in Dragon Ball contradict other things in Dragon Ball. I like pretty much all the new stuff. Except Minus. And Episode of Bardock. Those were trash and sadly one of them is potentially canon. Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans is meh as well, no real opinion on it.

- Vegeta's rage boost: It doesn't make much sense, and there was no reason for it to happen. Unless we learn more about it in Super, and make sense from it.
- Bardock's survival: His death in the TV Special was perfect, and there was no reason to make him go back in time & make him a Super Saiyan, or give him SS2 & SS3, or to have Mira save him and keep him alive in the future.
- Broli's power: I like Broli, and I liked seeing him in hypothetical SS2, SS3, Golden Oozaru, and SS4, but there was no reason for the video games to treat him as the strongest villain in his LSS form.
- Goku's origins: Ι don't have any issue with Gine, but I preferred Goku being a low-class weakling that was sent away as trash to Earth instead of his good parents saving him from Freeza.
- Golden Oozaru Broli & Gogeta: I'm OK with them getting this form, but why the fuck didn't their clothes get destroyed after their transformation?!
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Yeah. Although these movies are better but they are still essentially the same thing. Would be cool to see if DBGT/DBO is an alternate universe will Super have universe 7 intersect with them.Rocketman wrote:Do you remember how for the past two decades or so people have been mocking or complaining about GT's Goku (aka Godku aka Base Kid Goku) hogging all the screentime to the detriment of everybody else?
Well now bog is here, and apparently people love that exact same shit, so long as it's Toriyama's extrusion and not Toei's.
When did these happen? Are these all in DBO? If not source(s) please?DBZGTKOSDH wrote:
