Questions about the PTO

Post by Strife1 » Tue Jul 21, 2015 2:01 am

So according to that episode, we know that Freeza owned at least 448 planets because of Sorbet's mention of having trouble on this planet. If your canon places Coola as a real character, then he would have at least 256 planets, but even leaving Coola out of the question, Freeza owns at least 11% of the mortal universe. If Freeza had gained immortality somehow on Namek, do you believe that Freeza would've controlled all of the planets? If so, then what would he do after that? Become his own God of Destruction? Everyone would worship him eventually out of fear and awe, but what would Freeza do? Test wine? Dine on planets? Vacation on Planet Wortrinson enjoying delicious salmon?

He would somehow piss off Beerus and get his ass sealed up in a sword...

There are 4 galaxies in the universe, and in real life at least there are billions of planets in a galaxy. So 4032 is probably a specific subdivision of planets, or just the total number of inhabited planets that Freeza and his organization had charted (because realistically, 99.999999% or more of planets are going to be lifeless rocks or gas giants).

Yeah, this information isn't new to us, it was provided in the Chozenshu prior to Battle of Gods' initial release. There aren't 4032 planets total, it's more like the sector in which Earth exists.
Though it's now being called "Planet 4032-Green-877", which is more in line with Extreme Butoden's planet naming of "Planet 4032-Blue-904" being the world where Whis teleported some characters (spoilers).

It sounds more like some sort of planetary barcode than anything else. Anyway, Whis is the only one to toss out that designation so far; there's no reason to think it would be any sort of numbering system Freeza and co. are familiar with.

For comparison, there's the coordinates Kaio provides for Namek, which Bulma recognized.

I thought Sorbet used that same designation in RoF.

And even then, he doesn't use it all the time. Like when he explains the sides in Beerus' bento are from the planet Watrin and Nebula 65.

He only uses "Planet 448" if I remember correctly, which could just be the label the organization gave it for when they get ready to tack Freeza's name on after it's conquered?

Barcode...interesting.
Would be funny if these barcodes had puns to them as well based off of food.
In Most of the U.S. the produce that we have, have numbers on them, 4032 being Watermelon, 4011 being banana, etc. Toriyama is notorious for Food based names, it'd be pretty interesting if these sectors are based off of the PLU codes for fruit :D
In reality it's probably random, like always! (silly fans looking for relations between coincidentally chosen numbers.)

Even if he got immortality. Either Buu would turn him into candy and eat him. Or absorb him. Or like that somewhat said earlier. Eventually beerus would get annoyed by him and seal him somewhere if he could not kill him.
