Yep, I'm not familiar with clackenbead.
I can't help but get this feeling you're being deliberately and overly dismissive of other titles/people that you don't like, since you're misspelling names that are mentioned just above you...

She's my second favorite voice behind Schemmel, actually. And she PM'd me on FUNimation's forums once, so huzzah!
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

I would totally have freaked out and had an episode if Stephanie ever messaged me. That's one autograph that I would actively pursue in the future if it all possible. She was such a big part of my childhood that without her voice Gohan would not nearly be as beloved by me.

Don't know why she would just for being in Kai.

No, sir, I didn't like it.

I have a pretty good feeling that she'd give you an autograph pretty happily too. I've talked to Nadolny (only online) a few different times since I have her on Facebook, and she's a really sweet lady. She even seems to remember to post a 'Happy Birthday!' for me every year, which is amazing given how many fans she must have on her FB page, always gives me them fuzzy feelings.

She once PM'd me too, shortly after the Kai replacement (well...a year or so after, actually, I think), thanking me for defending her and the other replaced actors for at least deserving being told about it prior to their booting from the franchise. This is why I love voice actors, they're generally really awesome people.

I just want to put it out there, I have no problem with her as a person, I just don't think she's a good voice actress, at least not as Goku and Gohan. I'm happy that she's very nice to her fans, and would gladly get her autograph.

It's cool, I don't think I've taken any of your comments as personal attacks on her. It's entirely possible to not enjoy someone's work but still find them to be a pretty cool person based on what you've heard about them.

I like both of Gohans voice actresses. They were both good in my opinion.

I like her as Goku, cause Goku's a rougher character and also hitting puberty so the deep and scratchy qualities kinda make sense. Gohan on the other hand, she's unfitting for. I've never seen a 4 year old who sounded like that.

Her voice works for Goku, giving him a sort of dumb innocence which fits his character. For Gohan? In the context of the Z dub I don't like her in retrospect but I'd like to hear her do some Gohan stuff now after more experience and with a better script to properly judge her.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

I'm the opposite, I've never had as much a problem with her Gohan as I did her Goku and I'm really surprised that anyone feels the opposite.

I hated Nadolny's Gohan as much as her Goku. A deep, raspy tone with a lack of vocal range.

I positively hate Stephanie Nadolny as Gohan.

She's far too husky for the character. Way too scratchy too. When I see Gohan, I imagine something boyish but innocent, youthful. Her Gohan sounds like Bobby Hill.

Also, her acting has never been any good, to me. It always hits the exact same notes, even in her angry moments. While Colleen is far from perfect, she's easily a much better Gohan than Stephanie could ever hope to be in my opinion.

Please don't resurrect threads like this that have been inactive for well over a year without some good reason. In cases like this it's really best to start a new thread on the same topic.

I thought she did an okay job as Gohan during the Cell games, but that's about it. Colleen Clinkenbeard does the character justice, although not the best thing in the world, it is still a lot better than Nadolny's portrayal of the character.

I like Nadolny's Kid Goku though.

I'm rewatching Dragonball dubbed and honestly Goku's voice is perfect. She makes him sound naive and clueless in the early episodes just like he should, and then when he gets angry or starts to fight you can tell how his voice goes to the right pitch.

She sounds far too deep for me to accept as a four-year old. For Cell Games Gohan, maybe. But for early Z, crybaby Gohan? Absolutely not.
