Which villain would you have picked to be final baddie?
From the movies and manga. Who would you have picked to be the final antagonist of the series? Honestly I would have loved to see king cold be the final villain. Seeking vengeance for the death of his son. I mean I like Buu but honestly he seemed like a copy of cell in a way.
I could see King cold invading earth and of course my version of King cold would be about Buu level. And the final saga would be an invasion themed. As the z Warriors vs the galactic empire. Not like the movie but like those invasion movies or like kyrptonians from man of steel? How about you guys?

Omega shenron. Shenron power and authority override any god and can even revive the god of creation itself.
His knowledge and his creation power is unlimited and even can create/ apply his own ruling to prevent abuse.

Re: Whic villain would you have picked to be final baddie?
The Shadow Dragons are basically the best end villains for the franchise, not saying GT executed them all well but having the heroes overreliance on the DBs nearly come back to destroy them and the Earth is a whole lot better then what the manga ended on with Buu.
When someone tells you, "Don't present your opinion as fact," what they're actually saying is, "Don't present your opinion with any conviction. Because I don't like your opinion, and I want to be able to dismiss it as easily as possible." Don't fall for it.

Janemba. Since he possesses the powers and abilites of the gods from Marvel and DC, such as mass manipulation, reality and etc. Other than him, Cell or Mira, because of their genes/abilities which come from the good guys. But making Shenlong an enemy was a good idea of Dragon Ball GT, he would be my last choice.

While they weren't executed so well, the Shadow Dragons idea feels like the perfect finale. What better villains than our heroes vs the titular objects that once aided them?
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

I loved GT idea to make the Dragon Balls the final boss. The idea about negative energy had already been foreshadowed by Elder Kai and Toei was smart to use it.
Evil Dragons Is the best stop.
As far GT villains go, I really liked to have a Tuffle and Evil Dragons as main villains.

A world without Dragon Ball is just boring.

I will stick with Buu. I think there is a progression in the series of ever expanding the notion of "what the world is" and the adversary to be fought always falls in a higher sphere. First it is people around you in neighboring towns or counties, then a championship of serious martial artists around the world, then evil corporations with machinery, then the local gods and demons of earth -- in Z you move beyond Earth, to the strongest members of your alien race, to then galactic overlords. Then you look at the very limits of technology with the best robots and genetic engineering and time travel -- the very limits of natural physical existence. The next step is heavenly/galactic gods and their demons as well as exploring the idea of magical powers. Goku's notion of what the world is expands from his small house in the woods to all the known universe and heavens. And then it ends with Uub and the notion of reincarnation.
And with Super progressing to even higher Gods and inter-universe travel, the world expands even more. I like this theme of it all being an ever expanding adventure with more and more magic to be found.

The concept behind the Shadow Dragons made them the perfect final bosses for Dragon Ball. It was one of the things that GT did right, but it just wasn't executed well.

Grandpa Gohan who is wished back to life, has gotten ridiculously stronger, and wants to have a final match against Goku to test him.

Re: Which villain would you have picked to be final baddie?
The shadow dragons were easily the best way to end the franchise however the execution could've been a lot better.
July 9th 2018 will be remembered as the day Broly became canon.
Re: Which villain would you have picked to be final baddie?
Yeah the shadow dragons would have been the best... Of course minus the rest of the GT stuff.

The creator of the Dragon Balls. And no, I do not mean the Namekians. Young Kaiohshin does not know the Spheres, Old Kaiohshin knows them and acts as if "only Namekians are allowed to have them", like they were not the source of them, maybe were blessed to also be able to make them.

Re: Which villain would you have picked to be final baddie?
Out of the villains that exist, definitely Broly or the shadow dragons. They'd both have to obviously be reenvisioned and appear in new eras though. For example, I would place Broly some time after the Cell Games. He'd be Gohan's final villain and a perfect foil to him as a character. No Goku in that saga. Broly would also be the original SSJ.
I'd place the shadow dragons a year after Goku leaves with Uub. Once the dark shenron disperses into them, the dragon balls would be scattered across the universe. So it'd be like a combination between the blackstar and shadow dragon sagas, only the gang splits up to face each one. Omega Shenron can have god and reality manipulation powers like Janemba.

Cell. The best of every race, the monster that attained perfection, he who knows all their moves. The only logical followup to Cell is Boo, but even then he's a little too godmodded.
Most Dragon Ball fans are incapable of making a logically sound argument.

Cell
A villain with every fighting aspects of the greatest fighters within his being and perfected... a bit cliched but very effective final boss type.

Aside from that, I'm going with Frieza. His inhumane yet sophisticated nature allows him to personify the essence of a villain who isn't just bound by the limitations of ruthlessness. He exemplifies the exterior of a classy tyrant whose name itself is enough to leave the universe's overseers quivering in fear --how cool is that? Couple all of that with the sarcasm and utter pleasure he displays when he torments the life out of his victims, and we have a sadistic menace who would be pretty darn difficult to trump in terms of villainous intensity.
As for who I would never pick? Deciphering this shouldn't be challenging for those of you who have actually spent time reading some of my posts. Yes, you guessed it, Broly. In short, his overall persona doesn't even have trace of flavor and he fits perfectly into the role of a dimwitted brute with no real agenda. That said, these are just my personal opinions.

Re: Which villain would you have picked to be final baddie?
All other things being equal, I prefer villains that have a connection to the hero, so that rules out Buu. Freeza, Cell, and the Evil Dragons are all logical final bad guys for the series. If I had to choose, I'd go with the Evil Dragons.

Out of all the villains, I would choose either Freeza or Bebi as the final bad guy.

Baby would be a fine final villain if Dragon Ball had started with the Saiyans and Tsufurujins war. And I think this is also a good idea.

Freeza. Always have been on the camp that the series should have ended there, and I will remain with that opinion. Freeza is the perfect Dragon Ball villain and everything every other antagonist in the series should thrive towards being. If we're talking in terms of abilities, then Boo is the obvious choice.
