強大化/kyoudai-ka. 強大/kyoudai=gigantic while 化/ka means a change, and when used as a suffix it's equivalent to "-fication" and things like that. For comparison, the Japanese word for mechanization is 機械化/kikai-ka, with 機械/kikai meaning "machine".

They're both correct, but each translation omitted the other half.

But no, it's not typical ki sensing (which is usually 気を感じる). It's probably part figurative, and part frustrated threats.

Thanks, I figured it must be true once I saw FUNi's subtitles use it. That's actually what brought it to my attention, but I remembering some old scanslations I read that also used it. Works for me because I like to use "Kakarotto" over "Kakarot" anyway to help preserve the pun in Vegetto's name.

Daimao did mention the "Kibit" and "Dabura" spellings were mistakes and that he'd have fixed them if it wasn't for Funi refusing to have name spellings differ between releases.
