Weirdest lies people have told you about the series?

When I first got into the series, and knew very little, one of my friends told me that Piccolo and Kuririn fuse together in Dragon Ball Z. He even showed me a fan-made pic of it too. It looked weird as hell.

Man I am sure there was a bunch I was told, but the only one I can remeber is:

When I was taping them off Cartoon Network when the Cell Saga was coming up my friend said that it was the begining of GT, so I labeled all my VHS's tapes for the Cell Saga as GT.

When I went over to a more knowledgeable friends house equipped with my tapes I was corrected

I still havent changed them, kinda as an inside joke, they are in my closet and I never watch them anymore, but for some reason I just cant tape over them guess they hold some sort of sentimental value.

Yes. That's the one alright! Thanks for the link. I still think they should've fused together after demonstrating it to Trunks and Goten. They did do the dance correctly. It would've been one of the most funniest moment in the series.

But Vegeta is only a head shorter than Goku(well, post-Sayain saga version of him is...). That's not the same as the height difference between Kuririn and Piccolo.

Canonically speaking, Goku and Vegeta still would have been able to fuse because Goku originally intended to use the fusion dance with Vegeta if they couldn't win separately against Boo. He also brings up using it while inside Majin Boo.

So, apparently the "height difference" can be as great as the difference between the two, which really isn't all that much anyway...or, moreso, depending on the stage of Toriyama-sensei's artwork - heh.

Goku planned to fuse with Gohan with the earrings before Gohan was absorbed, and then he told Vegeta they should do a fusion dance before they escaped Buu with Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks and Goten, because Buu was too powerful for them to fight in their current forms. Just after Goku suggests this and Vegeta declines, Buu appears inside his body and attacks the two.

As for Goku and Vegeta being at similar height for fusion, perhaps they just have to be similar enough that one person doesn't have to hang over the other, therefore creating a different stance? Other than that, I don't see why height would matter at all. I can understand if the people have to be compatible race-wise and at the same powerlevel, but I don't think the characters have to have the same height, weight, hair color, eye color, ect. because those genes would be mixed together. Just take a look a Gotenks hair!

Hey, did anyone notice before that Super Saiyajin 4 Vegeta has GREEN eyes? No, they are not blue. When you compare decent quality pictures of SSJ4 Vegeta and SSJ4 Gogeta, Vegeta's eyes are definately greener, while Gogeta's are most definately light blue like Trunks'. I discovered this while watching the SSJ4 Vegeta episode on Cartoon Network, and I completely flipped out, because I always thought they were blue. Why am I posting this, well, all I find on the internet is that Vegeta has blue eyes as a Super Saiyajin 4. And it's wrong. Blame the bad quality fansubs, I guess.

There is an editted image that was originally Gotenks and Gogeta, but the editor changed Gogeta's hair and outfit to make it look like Gotenks. It's so good, I have it saved to my computer.
