Yeah, it's unnecessary.

But anyway, Animax uses Fuji's old D2 videotape masters recorded in NTSC-J, so you have to covert the color temperature to get the intended colors on your PC monitors:

Better than making a duplicate thread :D No worse than reviving the Saiya-jin Symbol lol

Don't really think it's unnecessary since the dragon boxes are still relevant. I coulda posted in the color correction thread but that would be slightly off topic since that thread is mostly about removing the red cast.
That would explain the difference in color on the TV kei.

Did anyone scan those images to check the black and white levels? The darker level shots that you guys think looks better is probably 0-255 rgb.
