Alright, alright, alright guys. I'm sorry for gettin' ya so worked up. Since it's become apparent now that you actually are all really anxious to know, I'll announce it for real now.
In the end, our choice for the role of Tullece was...
Chris Niosi, Kirbopher.
All things considered, we just came to the conclusion that he can do it the best. For Tullece, we were looking for either, a) Someone who just plain NAILED the voice, or b) Someone who is good enough so that even if the voice isn't exact, they could make it so. Kirbopher ultimately fit both areas, in total, more than everyone else. He's really good at this stuff, and it shows in his voices. We were a bit concerned that it sounded a little to close to his Tenshinhan, but we know he can easily adjust it.
In the end, thanks all for auditioning (I wasn't expecting that many). If you have any questions, concerns, or would like to bash in my skull for one reason or another, then PM me or catch me in the chat, and I'll explain things best I can.
Last but not least, I was just hyper and silly on that last page. I wasn't expecting you guys at all to show up and be so anxious as you were... sorry if I came across as being a douche.

Oh, well, while I've got you on right now, I guess I should remind you that, yes, you are still Goku, and also, we're gonna be recording soon, and as such, I'm trying to get more voice samples from all our VAs so that I'll know who needs coaching.omegacwa wrote:I just don't post very much in general. I have begun to look at the script for the movie 10 (a miracle in the making folks) because I have a text editor on my computer, which is an apple and running on Mac OS. Nice little slim thing and I got it for pretty good from a buddy of mine. No longer am I using the PSP to post here having learned the hard way! On to business, I am going to send the translated script via email and via PM after it has been edited by the person(s) I choose. If I remeber correctly I think I already have one person who said could do it. I am still wanting people to at least look at it and give me an unofficial check. I will ultimatly send it to a friend of mine for the official sweep check. After all that red tape I will put it up here and make it more public than ever.
PS: For all intents and purposes I will want to be listed in the credits as Chavez Jonaquin which is a assumed name (in same vein as a pen name) just for personal reasons.

Well, for 3 roles, Kirbopher is no doubt our official Chris Sabat. He definitely deserves top billing on the DVD cover IMO. [j/k]And yes Kaboom, you are a douche for spamming this thread into a page 72 so quickly.[/j/k]
Congrats to Kirbopher! I'm kinda glad I didn't nail the part for Tullece, my poor lungs will be put to their limit when I record my Oozaru takes anyhow (and Kino and I must have our voices mixed when Gohan transforms because...it'd be friggin' cool >>). Also, just so you guys know, once I have my new mic (as my monitor mic isn't the best), I'm recording everything I'm scripted to and putting it all in a single organized zip file. Let me know which audio editor in this confusing bunch I should send to and I will. Till then, I'd like to send all the available sound effects I've attained for the project to whomever is the folly editor (a.k.a. in charge of sound effects). Who would that be?

Good to hear, Conan. Good to hear you're getting on recording, too. I was gonna say "wait for the KEVRG," but then I remembered you Saying you've got a copy of the movie to work off.
Don't forget though, I still wanna hear voice samples from yous guys.

I congratulate Kirbopher. I'm sad I wasn't chosen, but I have to admit he's really good.SSj Kaboom wrote:Oh, goody. There's one person who isn't lurking in the shadows plotting my demise...

Ahh, bah, Kaboom. You said this thread would be in total pandemonium by the time I got online this evening. Where's your backbone?
I so should have gotten back on before you sabotaged your own scheme...
Ehh well.
Anyways, yes, 'tis great that people (at least most of them) are cool with whom we chose. Hopefully the rest of them are okay with Kirbopher getting the role, too (I'm looking at you, Steven >_>; ). Yeah, the three of us decided he got Tullece's persona down the best. Honestly, though, as I said earlier, everybody did a good job with their auditions.
Thanks for trying out. It was some interesting listening.
I'll be making some voice samples to show you, Kaboom, when I get some free time this week. Hopefully I won't die from my returning to college. D: Question, though: Was the KEVRG originally intended to aid just those people without an actual copy of the movie? I thought everybody was supposed to use it for when they recorded their lines... o.o?

Nah, just kidding. Kirbopher's got awesome talent, and I agree he could change his voice to fit the role (like his 'Vegeta?!' Nappa impersonation). Well, Kirbopher, what are you waiting for? Let's hear some more!
You're a very wise man, Kaboom.

The names going on the top of the DVD cover are:
Chris Niosi
Scott Bewick
Rob Harms
Lauren Costantini
Jerry S. Jewell
Any objections?

None from me. Chris (doing more than one part as it is) being the lead villain and Rob being the lead character certainly warrant their spots and since Chuquita's voicing the second character that first appears in DB, hers is a fitting name on there. Many thanks for putting up with what may've been interpreted as bitching from me, Steven. Very sorry if I wrangled your saddles (in other words, busted your balls) too much over the cover. Anywho, perhaps you can find an area on the back to list the other planned extras? Commentary by cast, Bloopers, and Trailers are what Kaboom's agreed with in PMs. Woah, I just realized we'll potentially have three audio tracks (in addition to Bardock's Spanish and the already worked-on English sub tracks), these DVDs are looking pretty damn promising and big in file size.Steven Perry wrote:The names going on the top of the DVD cover are:

Also, Chuquita, I hope you don't feel offended or anything that I don't regularly refer to ya' as "Lauren". I'm just so used to calling you "Chuquita" (what can I say, I love that name) that it's hard to shift. ^^;;

'Bitching'? Nah. Don't be sorry about anything; I wouldn't have even bothered about making a cover if you never gave me all that support. Thanks, man.Conan the SSJ wrote:Many thanks for putting up with what may've been interpreted as bitching from me, Steven. Err... yeah... enough of the mushy stuff...
*Ahem*
Oh shit, I totally forgot! Are these going to be all the extras? Tell me!Conan wrote: Anywho, perhaps you can find an area on the back to list the other planned extras?
