You're wrong I never was elitist... but it seems that YOU are the jealous one... or you simply must comment everything? why couldn't you just ignore this and ask something ontopic instead of countinuing offtopic?

You probably have wrong impression about me, I would do a favor and make a gif to someone who is at least fair and correct, but surely not to you and others of your kind...
OH man yeah I'm totally jealous you just totally hit the nail on the head absolutely righto.

I don't mind people not liking the movie (which isn't even out yet) but you're an insane, rambling retard and no matter how many .gif's you made, you wouldn't be able to redeem yourself.

PS. The comment wasn't nessecerally directed at you but what the hey, you're in there too.

After all this BULLSHIT you throwing at me for no FUCKING reason, everone still see me as the only one offensive here, even if I am only offensive just towards movie itself...
This is sad...

I think it would be the pretty righteouss to ban me, BUT not only me, and YOU, mean fucktards like you, and some other also...that would be the best for us, cuz I see people hate me here for no FUCKING reason, +you mean bitches deserve ban too...

I too disagree with many of VEGETA_DTX's views, but you don't see me flaming him do you? It is possible to disagree without resulting to flaming you know.

Now about the .gif...hmm...whatever the largest allowable size on this forum is would be nice. I think it's 100 x 100 or something like that, but I can't be sure.

Wasn't it 80x80?

And yea...ETC, that was kind of uncalled for. For Once DTX refrained himself from expressing himself in an absurd way, and as a result came up with something pretty amusing, without at all being 'way too offensive' or anything. The aftermath? You go ahead and flame him out of the blue.

I'm pretty sure you're trying to say that someone here is acting elitist. But you were unable to do so in a mature or thoughtful manner. Noone here is acting elitist. Some are happy about the movie, some dread it, and many are undecided. We are discussing it. You made a masturbation reference. Good job.

Also, a few months ago, you were the one subjecting everyone to your own elitist views about the season sets. (If you don't remember, you made it clear that anyone who bought the sets was 'not real a fan' and a traitor to those who wanted a better release). Haha, "release", like ejaculation, haha, people like me now.

I know a lot of people are saying this movie is being rushed, which it is to some extent, but a movie in actuality doesn't take that long to make. A lot of movies sit in post production for a year, which makes it seem like it took multiple years to make a movie, but I think the average filming + editing time for a movie is like 6 months. Obviously with some variation based on the length of the film, style of director and what forth. But some of the best movies of all time were filmed on minuscule budgets in less than 3 months.

Seriously, this movie is most likely going to be a hour and a half to 2 hours tops. With good locations, not to to many sets, and hard working stunt team, It wont take long to complete the filming, leaving them plenty of time to edit and do digital Special effects. Don't expect the greatest special effects by the way. Most movies aren't even finished until a week before release, sometimes a day before.

But i do have to agree that I didn't like Chatwin saying "It's an important KID'S show". I think the real demographic for Dragonball is 13-25, which is at least teenagers, not Kids.

Look the fact of the matter, the average joe doesnt know the difference between anime and a regular cartoon. The 90's Batman cartoon covered very adult topics but still aired on Fox Kids on Saturday mornings.

The fact that is bothering me is that the STAR of the movie doesnt appear to be doing research on the franchise.

That is disappointing but not really necessary. He is an actor, Iam sure he isn't going to research every role he plays (if those roles are actually an adaption of somthing). Iam sure Christian Bale didn't know much about Batman and *he seems to be the best one yet.

*Please lets not turn this into a "Who was a better Batman" discussion. If you disagree with me that's fine

Yeah but at least the director gave him reference material for the angle of Batman he wanted.

I'd hope that every competent actor know if they're playing the lead or not. "The character of Goku is an important character." An important character?

Sounds to me Chow Yun-Fat will be the lead character and Goku will train him.

Yes he seriously is.

He fails to realize Justin Chatwin, as they describe in the article, is a simple person. Meaning he keeps to himself and doesn't describe things in great detail.

Like me in real life.

If I was asked, I would probably say "Goku is an important character and I hope I don't disappoint the fanboys in forums" or something.

Which is why it stared in "little boy jump". Fans just can't seem to come to grasp that Dragonball and Dragonball Z was a show intended for children. Why should that stop you from enjoying it? All of the old American super hero's were intended for eight year olds too but they still have a huge adult following.

Well, the people who watched dragonball back at its peak in America(Who are hopefully who this movie is aimed at) are at least old enough for R rated movies.(I was about 10 when I really got into dragonball back in 2000, and I'm 17 now.)

I got into back in 2000 too! And I am also 17 now! Good to meet a fan who's coming from the same place I am. But, the show is really intended for children. But thats not to say it cannot be enjoyed by all.

There's a part of me that really wishes to know what Ms. Nozawa thinks of all this; especially of Chatwin.

I would love to know what Akira Toriyama thinks of this. I don't think we'll ever know.
